The entrance test is held for admission to 5000 Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) seats in Vellore, Chennai and two new campuses in Bhopal (MP) and Amaravathi (AP). VITEEE 2018 is a computer based test to be conducted in three different slots as per the scheduled dates. The application form of VITEEE 2018 is expected to be released in the first week of November 2017. The entrance examination will be held across 119 exam cities including India and abroad (Dubai, Kuwait and Muscat). VITEEE Important Dates 2018

VITEEE important dates will be made available by VIT university along with the information brochure. The application form of VITEEE 2018 will be made available in the second week of November 2017. The slot booking for registered applicants will start from March 2018. Candidates who will qualify the entrance test will also have to check the counselling schedule to be provided by the authority. VITEEE Eligibility 2018

VITEEE 2018 sets some specific eligibility criteria which aspirants have to fulfill before applying for VITEEE 2018. Candidates applying for VITEE 2018 must have qualified class XII examination/appeared. Eligibility criteria will include age limit, nationality, education qualification etc. However, candidates who already have a undergraduate degree in engineering from another institute are not eligible to appear.   • Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI). PIO and OCI holder candidates can apply directly through foreign category.
  • Age requirements: Applicants whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1996 are eligible to apply for VITEEE 2018.
  • Education qualification: Candidates should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination. Relaxation of 20% is given for candidates belonging to SC/ST/ J&K migrants/ north eastern parts of India. Applicants from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) can also apply.

VITEEE Application Form 2018

The application form of VITEEE 2018 will start from the first week of November 2017. The application form process includes filling personal, educational qualification information, contact details, selection of exam city and fee payment. VITEEE online registration 2018 fee is to be paid online through debit/credit cards and net banking.

Note: Aadhaar Card has been made compulsory to register for VITEEE 2018.

Step 1: Registration– Candidates have to enter their name, email id, mobile number among others.

Step 2: Filling up of application form– Candidates have to login with their application number and pass code that will be sent to their registered email ID and mobile number. In the application form, candidates have to enter their personal and academic information, contact details among others

Step 3: Uploading of documents– Candidates have to upload recent scanned images of their photograph and signature in jpeg format and the size as prescribed by university

Step 4: Fee payment– Candidates can pay VITEEE application fee either online (debit card/credit card/net banking)or demand draft

Step 5: Confirmation page – Once the payment is successful, candidates will receive a confirmation message and email. It is advised to download the page and keep it safely for further admission references


VITEEE Exam Centres 2018

VIT University releases the list of cities where the online entrance examination will be held. Previous year, the entrance test for all the three sessions of VITEE was conducted in 119 cities. Candidates have to choose any three VITEEE 2018 exam centres as per their preferences while filling the application form. The allotment of VITEEE exam centres will be done on the basis of first come first serve basis. Change in the examination city will not be accepted after submission of the application form.


VITEEE Admit Card 2018

The admit card of VITEEE 2018 will be available for download from the third week of March 2018. Candidates can get their VITEEE 2018 admit card by downloading it while slot booking. The admit card includes the roll number, name, photograph, signature, examination city, exam centre and ID proof number of candidates. It is necessary for aspirants to carry VITEEE admit card 2018 and other relevant documents to the examination centre on the day of entrance test. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must immediately contact the authority.


VITEEE Exam Pattern 2018

The exam pattern of VITEEE includes the types of questions, total number of questions, marking scheme, duration of the exam. The question paper is divided into four sections – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. VITEEE 2018 will be conducted in the online mode for 2 hours 30 minutes in 3 sessions each day. Candidates will have to answer 125 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics comprises of 40 questions and English section will have 5 questions. For each correct answer one mark is awarded whereas no negative marking is applicable for incorrect answers.

VITEEE Syllabus 2018

The syllabus of VITEEE 2018 consists of all the subject areas studied in standard XI and XII. VITEEE 2018 online entrance examination includes 100 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. VITEEE Result 2018

The result of VITEEE 2018 to be announced in April 2018 in online mode. The VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2018 result comprises score and rank of candidates. Aspirants can check VITEEE result by entering the application number and password. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by candidates in VITEEE 2018. The equating methodology propagated by the university will be adopted while preparing VITEEE merit list. Candidates will also be informed about their All India Rank secured through an SMS.


VITEEE Merit List 2018

The merit list of VITEEE 2018 will be available along with the result. The VITEEE merit list includes details like the candidate’s name, All India Rank and gender. The merit list is prepared on the basis of equating methodology prescribed by the authority. The merit list will be valid only for the particular academic session and will not be carried to the next session.


VITEEE Cutoff 2018

The cutoff of VITEEE 2018 is the minimum qualifying marks to be scored by candidates to be eligible for admission in various B.Tech courses. VITEEE cutoff is set by the authority. The cutoff will be declared in the opening and closing rank which varies for different categories. After declaration of the result, university will announce cutoff for VITEEE qualified candidates for participating in counselling rounds. VITEEE Counselling 2018

The first phase of VITEEE counselling 2018 will be held in the second week of May while second phase will commence from third week of May 2018. Only those candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list will be called for VITEEE counselling. On the basis of the ranks, candidates have to be present in person to participate in the counselling of VITEEE. The counselling will be held in offline mode in four campuses- Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati and Bhopal. Generally, VITEEE counselling is held in two phases- Phase I and II. However, if seats remain vacant, an extra round might be held by the university. Counselling includes stages such as issuance of VITEEE counselling admit card, registration, advance payment, reporting to the campuses, allotment process, document verification, seat display of vacant seats after each round of VITEEE counselling.


VITEEE Seat Allotment 2018

The seat allotment of VITEEE 2018 is conducted by VIT University in four campuses. VITEEE seat allotment is organised in two rounds. Shortlisted candidates have to report at allotted campus for VITEEE seat allotment process. On the basis of All India rank, preferences of courses and availability of seats, aspirants are granted admission to 20 B.Tech programmes. Candidates must carry all prescribed documents in original for verification along with two sets of photocopies. Payment of the admission fees has to be done by demand draft drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’ payable at Vellore.


VITEEE Participating Institute 2018

Vellore Institute of Technology has four participating institutes for admission in 20 B.Tech courses. Successful candidates will be admitted in four campuses located in Vellore, Chennai, Amravati and Bhopal. Candidates can participate in any of the four campuses during counselling as per their choices. Seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of the merit ranks and availability of seats for the particular course.
