On the official website (http://www.vit.ac.in/), VIT University, has released important notification regarding VITEEE 2015, which was due on 8 and 9 April 2015 in the state of Kerala and Jammu, respectively. There is no alteration in the exam center of the schedule (session or timing). Only the dates has been shifted.
Details Regarding Changed Exam Date in the State of Kerala:
The exam due on 8 April 2015, will be held on:
- 13th April 2015, in Kozhikode
- 12th April 2015, in Thrissur
- 15thApril 2015, in Cochin (Both centres)
- 17thApril 2015, in Trivandrum
Reason for Change: On the due date, 8 April 2015, there is a hartal in the state. The call for the observation has been made by Fisheries Coordination Committee. The purpose of the Coastal hartal is to protest against the Meenakumari Committee report, regarding the Coastal Regulation Zone rules and recent “anti-fishwork” directives.
Details Regarding Changed Exam Date in the State of Jammu:
The examination due in Jammu, on 9 April 2015, now will be held on 17 April 2015. The exam timing and session will remain the same. Also, even the exam center are unaltered.
Reason for Change: Board examination for High School, in Jammu, has been postponed. Due to which, 9 April, is reserved for board examination. Hence, VITEEE 2015 exam will be held on 17 April 2015.
VITEEE 2015 is scheduled from 8 to 19 April 2015. Candidates will write the examination in 2 hour 30 minutes. In this duration. Candidates will have to solve 120 MCQ’s of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates will have to solve all the questions and for each correct answer one mark will be allocated. Fortunately, no negative marking will be done, for marking incorrect answers.
