The registration process has ended on April 13, 2017. The entire application process was in the online mode. The form was filled by aspirants seeking admission to various engineering courses offered by the University through SET 2017. Requirements for SET 2017 Application Form

Before applying for SET 2017, candidates must be ready with the following for registration:

  • Passport sized photo of the candidates

  • Choice of Exam Centre of SET 2017

SET 2017 Application Form

Aspirants have to follow the steps given below to complete the online application procedure of SET 2017:

Step 1) Registration

Candidates have to click on the New Registration button, read the instructions carefully, click on the ‘I Agree’ button to accept the terms and conditions and fill in the following details:

After filling the details mentioned above, applicants have to click on ‘Save and Continue’ button to choose the password and security question & answer. After submitting the required details, click on ‘Save and Continue’ button to register. The screen will display the SET ID.

After successful registration, candidates will receive an email as well an SMS containing their SET ID and password. Candidates must secure them and proceed to the next step of filling the form.

Candidates have to fill in all the required details mentioned below to fill up the form:

Step 3) Uploading of Photograph

After entering the particulars mentioned above, candidates have to upload the scanned image of the photograph. The photograph should not be less than 3 months. Check the required format for the photograph below:

After uploading the photograph, candidates have to click on ‘Save and Continue’ button. The Application will be redirected to the Payment page.

Step 4) Payment of Fees

Candidates have to pay Rs. 1500 to validate the application form. The fee once paid is non refundable. Candidates can make the payment through any one of the following modes:

Online Payment: Candidates can pay the fee via Debit Card/Credit Card or through Net Banking.

Cash Payment: Candidates paying the application fee through cash must submit the fee along with the hard copy of the filled in application form at the cash counter of SIT.

Challan: To pay the requisite fee through challan, applicants have to take the print out the challan of Axis Bank or Indian Bank as per their convenience and make the payment at any branch of the respective Bank located in the city. Upon successful payment, the Symbiosis copy of the Pay in slip must be signed by the candidate and send it to the address mentioned below:

Demand Draft: In order to pay through DD, candidates have to choose the mode of Payment as ‘DD Payment’ in ‘Make Payment’ tab. Take a print out of the payment advice form, fill in the DD details, sign it and send it along with the Demand Draft tot the address mentioned above.

Candidates have to get the Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the payment details and will send a confirmation email for the payment. After the authentication of the payment, candidates will be able to view their admit card.

Step 5) Print out of the Application Form

Candidates must take print out of the filled in form which will be generated after the completion of the application process. The hard copy of the form must be kept safe untill the end of the admission process.
