REAP 2017 CounsellingREAP 2017 Counselling: Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota has started the registration for REAP 2017 counselling round 4. Candidates have to deposit the registration fee and advanced tuition fee latest by August 08, 2017. However, the last date to register for the fourth round of REAP counselling 2017 is August 10, 2017. Round 4 of REAP counselling is a special round which is conducted for candidates with Rajasthan domicile and outside Rajasthan candidates. RTU has also published the list of candidates who have been allotted seats in the counselling of REAP 2017. The allotment list has been released category wise. Candidates can check the allotment list and download allotment letter on this page. REAP counselling 2017 is being conducted in four rounds and it is open for JEE Main 2017 and class XII Boards qualified candidates. Counselling for out of Rajasthan candidates started from July 07 to 15. REAP counselling includes online registration, payment of counselling fee, option/choice filling, document verification, spot round, withdrawal option, reporting to the institutes. Admission through REAP 2017 counselling is also subjected to fulfilling the eligibility norms defined by RTU. In REAP 2017, admissions are based on combined merit list, the order of options filled in by the candidates in the option form and seats available in the respective institute. REAP 2017 Counselling Procedure

To participate in the counselling of REAP, candidates have to undergo various steps. Before applying for admission, candidates must ensure to go through REAP 2017 eligibility criteria and make sure they meet all the norms defined for admission. The procedure to be followed by the candidates for REAP counselling is as given below:


It is mandatory for each and every aspirant to register themselves, pay the requisite fee and fill up the application form of REAP. Candidates may check the registration process given in brief below:

  • Candidates have to enter basic details such as name, father’s name, Gender, mobile number, Aadhaar number etc. in the registration form
  • Upon successful registration, candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 700 through electronic payment gateway
  • After successful transaction, candidates can fill up the application form where they have to furnish educational information, JEE Main 2017 exam details etc.
  • Candidates have to upload scanned images of their recent passport sized photograph and signature and submit the application form
  • Candidates are advised to take a print out of the duly submitted application form for future reference

Option/Choice Filling for REAP Counselling 2017

Candidates have to fill in their choice of institute and branch they want to take admission into through REAP 2017. Candidates have to follow the steps given below for choice/option filling:

  • Candidates have to login using their login ID
  • Candidates have to pay the advanced fee of Rs. 10,000 online. After successful payment, candidates must ensure to note down the payment transaction ID
  • Upon successful transaction, candidates will be allowed to fill in their choices of institutes and branches.
  • Candidates can save or submit their options/choices. Once submitted, candidates will not be able to make any changes in the choices
  • If any candidate does not submit the choices, it will automatically be locked and submitted on the last day of submission


REAP 2017 Counselling and Seat Allotment

RTU has proposed four rounds of REAP counselling for the academic session 2017-18. Candidates have to check the allotment status online and download the allotment letter generated by the system. REAP 2017 allotment letter can be downloaded from the link provided above on this page. Candidates will require the allotment letter at the time of counselling at the allotted institute. Details for each round of REAP counselling 2017 is provided below:

REAP 2017 Counselling- Round 1

The first round of counselling is conducted only for candidates from outside Rajasthan for whom 15% of the seats are reserved. The counselling is done based on both JEE Main 2017 and class 12 percentile. However, first preference is given to JEE Main 2017 candidates. Candidates have to report to the allotted institute with all the required documents and balance fee. Reporting have to be done online through the institute allotted to the candidates.

REAP 2017 Counselling- Round 2

The 2nd round of counselling will be carried out for candidates belonging to the state of Rajasthan. 85% of the seats and vacant seats of the first round will be occupied by Rajasthan domiciled candidates. Counselling will be based on JEE Main 2017 rank as well as class 12 percentile. However, similar to the 1st round, first preference will be given to JEE Main 2017 candidates. Candidates have to report online through the allotted institute with all the required documents and balance fee.

Candidates reporting for admission may give their option for upward movement/withdrawal. Candidates are advised not to deposit their original documents to the first reporting institute.

REAP 2017 Counselling- Round 3

The third round of counselling of REAP 2017 will be done for students who applied for upgradation/upward movement in the 2nd round of counselling. Candidates who are allotted to a new/higher preference have to report to the new allotted institute with all the documents. Irrespective of whether upgraded in upward movement or not, candidates will require submitting all the original documents at the last reported institute.

Withdrawal From Seat Allotment Process

In case, candidates want to cancel their seat allotment, they have to report to the last allotted institute. Candidates have to surrender the allotment letter along with a cancellation application on or before July 31, 2017. Upon successful withdrawal, the message “Admission withdrawn on request of the candidate” will appear on the screen. Candidates who cancel their allotted seats within the given period of time they will get the refund from the allotted institute after deduction of processing fee and administrative expenses.

Internal Sliding
Candidate can opt for internal sliding within the allotted institute within the given time period before the Special/Spot round. The list of candidates who wish to participate in internal sliding would be forwarded and it will be carried out by the respective institutes.

REAP 2017 Counselling- Round 4

The 4th round of REAP counselling is a special round which will be conducted for candidates with Rajasthan domicile and out of Rajasthan candidates. Candidates who have not applied earlier can register to participate in the special round of counselling. In this round, candidates belonging to the following category may participate:

2. Registered candidates who were allotted a seat Candidates have to withdraw their admission online through the last reported institute (on or before July 31, 2017) by paying a fee of Rs. 1000. Candidates will be allowed to modify their choice/option form
3. Registered candidates who were not allotted seats due to choice exhaustion Candidates can give their consent online to join the special round. There is no requirement of extra fee payment. Candidates will be allowed to modify their choice/option form
4. Candidates who were allotted a seat but did not report to the allotted institute for admission Candidates have to pay again the advanced fee of Rs. 10,000. Such candidates would have the option to modify their Option/Choice form
5. Registered candidates who were allotted seat but withdrew admission after July 31, 2017 Candidates have to withdraw their admission through the last reported institute online and pay the advanced fee of Rs. 10000. Such candidates will be able to modify their Option/Choice form
6. Candidates who have not applied earlier for admission through REAP 2017 Aspirants have to register themselves online by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 700 and an advance fee of Rs. 10,000, filling their Option/Choice form before the last date

Requirement of Documents for REAP 2017 Counselling

Candidates have to carry the following documents at the time of reporting to the allotted institute for admission:

  1. The balance fee amount (after deducting the advanced fee deposited while registering for REAP 2017) to be deposited at the institute
  2. Hard copy of the provisional seat allotment letter
  3. Print out of the application form of REAP attested with a recent colour photograph
  4. One colour photograph
  5. Original as well as self attested photocopy of the following documents:
  • JEE Main 2017 scorecard (If applicable)
  • Class 10 Board certificate (as a proof of date of birth)
  • Class 12 marksheet
  • Consolidated grade/mark sheet of qualifying examination
  • Category certificate (OBC/SBC/SC/ST) issued by competent authority (If applicable)
  • Undertaking by OBC/SBC in required format (If applicable)
  • Certificate for PwD candidates (If applicable)
  • Certificate for Ex-servicemen (If applicable)
  • Domicile certificate
