NATA Exam Pattern 2018 – The exam pattern of NATA is defined by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi. NATA exam pattern consists details about the overall paper structure such as question type, number of sections, question and marks distribution, duration etc. As per NATA exam pattern, the entrance test will be held in the offline mode and it is divided into two compulsory parts. Part A will have questions from Mathematics and General aptitude. While part 2 of NATA question paper will have questions on drawing. The total duration of the entrance test is 3 hours. NATA Exam Pattern 2018
The CoA will administer NATA 2018 in 20 cities of the country. Candidates must go through NATA exam pattern given below to have a clear understanding of the structure of the question paper.
Examination mode– According to NATA exam pattern, the entrance test will be conducted in pen and paper based mode.
Subjects– The entrance test will have questions from the following subjects:
- General aptitude
Type of questions– The Mathematics and General aptitude sections will have multiple choice questions.

Marking scheme– The marking scheme defined for the entrance test by CoA in NATA exam pattern 2018 is given below:
- Mathematics and aptitude test – 2 marks will be allotted for the correct answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect or unanswered questions.
- Drawing – Marks will be allotted based on candidates’ drawing, imagination and observation skills.
Duration – The total duration of the entrance test is 3 hours. In the first 90 minutes, candidates have to answer questions in part A. The remaining 90 minutes is allotted for part B, i.e. the drawing section.
NATA Syllabus 2018

About NATA 2018
NATA 2018 will be held in the third week of April. The aptitude test will evaluate the drawing skills, critical thinking and other aptitude skills of the candidates. On the basis of students’ performance in NATA 2018, around 450 architecture institutes will offer admission to 5 year B.Arch. programme.
