NATA eligibility criteria 2018 consist details about academic qualification that candidates must meet to appear in NATA. As per NATA eligibility criteria, students of any age are eligible to apply for the aptitude test. Candidates must have passed or appearing in class 12 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a core subject. The CoA has also laid down NATA eligibility criteria that candidates need to satisfy for admission in B.Arch courses offered by the member institutes. Before filling up the application form aspirants must go through the eligibility criteria of NATA. If at a later stage, any candidate is found to be ineligible, he or she will be debarred from the admission process and the application fee will not be refunded either. NATA Eligibility Criteria 2018

As per NATA eligibility criteria defined by the CoA, candidates of any age can appear in the aptitude test. The age requirement was scrapped in 2017. To appear in NATA 2018 candidates have to fulfill any one of the following academic qualifications:

  1. Class 12 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.
  2. 10+3 diploma in any stream recognized by Central/ State government with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics
  3. International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing, after 10 years of Schooling with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination.

Note: Candidates appearing in any of the following examination in 2018 are also eligible to fill NATA application form and appear in the aptitude test.

NATA Eligibility Criteria 2018- For admission

Qualifying in NATA 2018 does not guarantee admission to architecture course in NATA participating institutes. Only those candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria will be eligible for admission:

Performance in NATA 2018– Candidate must have secured the minimum qualifying marks in NATA 2018 or must have qualified in the aptitude test in 2017.

Academic qualificationCandidates must have passed any of the qualifying examination with the following percentage:

  1. 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
  2. 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Govts with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics.
  3. International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing, after 10 years of Schooling with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject.

NATA Application Form 2018

Registration for NATA 2018 is likely to start in the first week of January. NATA application form will be available only in the online mode. Eligible candidates have to fill details in the application form, upload images, pay the requisite fee and take a printout of the confirmation page. NATA application form will be available until the second week of February 2018. After the last date no application will be accepted by the CoA. Only the candidates who will successfully register for the aptitude test will be issued NATA admit card.

About NATA 2018

NATA 2018 will be conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA), New Delhi in the third week of April. Candidates have to appear in the entrance test in the offline mode and attempt questions from Mathematics, aptitude test and drawing. The aptitude test will assess the drawing skills, critical thinking ability and other aptitude skills of the candidates related to the field of architecture. Based on candidates’ performance in the aptitude test admission to 5 years B.Arch. programme will be granted provided they fulfill NATA eligibility criteria 2018. Around 450 architecture institutes will participate and offer admission to students through NATA 2018.
