LEEP or Lateral Entry in Engineering and Pharmacy is an admission window through which deserving and eligible candidates can receive admission, directly, in the second year of B.E/ B.Tech or B.Pharma. LEEP Rajasthan 2014 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates eligible for LEEP Rajasthan 2014 are those who have either possessed Diploma or B.Sc Degree form AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) approved College/ University/ Institution. Candidates must have attained minimum of 45% marks in the course. However, for SC/ST and OBC (Non-Creamy layer) this criteria is 40%.
Candidates must note that only AICTE approved Diploma or Degree will be considered. If Diploma is awarded under MECS scheme of Board of Technical Education Rajasthan, then CPI will be considered for eligibility.
Competition in LEEP usually is tight. Interested candidates should check eligibility and reservation of seat before applying to know whether they can write exam or not and to be become aware about entitled privileges.
LEEP 2014 Rajasthan Reservation of Seats
Reservation of seat under LEEP Rajasthan 2014 will be strictly as per norms of Government of Rajasthan, which is as below:
- 16% seats are reserved for Schedule Caste Candidates.
- 2% for Schedule Tribes Candidates.
- 21% for Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates.
- 1% for Special Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates.
Provision of Horizontal Reservation under LEEP 2014 is as follows:
- 3% reservation will be done for Physically Handicapped Candidates.
- 25% for Women Candidates.
- 3% for Ex-Servicemen or dependents of Defence killed people.
LEEP Rajasthan 2014 Application Form
Candidate who fulfill eligibility criteria can apply for LEEP Rajasthan 2014 from Mid-November. Previous year, application form were made available in October end and till November last week merit list for allotment was released.
LEEP Rajasthan 2014 application form and option application are due and will be available on official website, which are www.leepadm.com and www.techedu.rajasthan.gov.in Along with Demand Draft, filled application form and option form (duly signed) is to be send through post to the address below, in due time duration.

LEEP Rajasthan 2014 Selection Procedure and Seat Allotment
Under LEEP Rajasthan 2014 no written test will be conducted for intake of candidates. Instead, a merit will be prepared on the basis of selection criteria of LEEP 2014 organizing committee. After preparation of merit list, the result will be uploaded online. Candidates must remember that result will not be send or posted to them.
Seat will be allotted as per the choices filled during LEEP 2014 application form submission and availability of desired seat in 139 (almost) participating colleges of Rajasthan.
