KVPY 2016 is Being held today on November 06


The Aptitude Test for Kishore Vaiganik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is being held today, on November 06, 2016. Aspiring students of class XI, XII and graduation first year are taking the examination in hope to receive the prestigious science research scholarship.

Under KVPY 2016 entrance exam, the SA streams candidates will have to solve 80 multiple choice questions, whereas, the total number of questions in SB/SX stream will be 120. The question paper of all streams will be divided into Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology sections. These sections will be further divided into Part I and II.

The distribution of questions and marks in SA, SB and SX streams will be as below

For SA Streams

The purpose of the written examination is to access the analytical ability of the student. The candidates, who will score well in it, will be called for the interview round, in the month of January 2017. The schedule for the interview will be published after the release of the KVPY 2016 Result.

The result of KVPY 2016 is expected to be announced in December 2016. The exact date for the release has not been announced by the IISc, the conducting body. However, as soon as it will be released, Entrancercorner will inform the readers.
