KVPY Result would show the names of the candidates, arranged in the order or names and roll number, who have qualified the examination. Provisional merit list of the candidates would be made on the basis of marks obtained. Selected candidates would be awarded the KVPY Fellowship for 2015. Merit would be based on the marks obtained by the candidate – 75% of marks in aptitude test and 25% marks in the personal interview round. How to check your KVPY 2015 Result in Online Mode?
Candidates can follow these steps to check the result of the examination:
- Open the official website of KVPY – http://www.kvpy.org.in to see the result.
- On the homepage of the website, locate the link to download the result.
- Click the link to download KVPY 2015 result PDF file in your computer.
- Open the PDF file to see the result of KVPY and qualification status.
- Press CTRL+F to search for your roll number.
- If you are selected, your roll number would be highlighted.
- You can proceed to take snapshot of the screen or generate printout of the result.
KVPY 2015 Revaluation of Sheets
Once the candidate assesses his KVPY result against the answer key, he can see his estimated marks. If he feels there is a discrepancy, he can demand for revaluation for result. For re-evaluation of OMR answer sheet, he has to pay Rs. 1000 in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of Registrar, IISc, Bangalore-12 with a covering letter indicating the stream, application number, and name. The exam governing body would assess the candidate’s plea and work upon it accordingly. Final decision would be taken by IISc in this regard. Any application received late after the deadline would not be considered for evaluation.
KVPY 2015 Merit List
All the candidates who qualify the exam by scoring marks more than or equal to the KVPY cutoff would be enlisted in a merit list. List would arrange names of the candidates in the decreasing order of marks. All the selected candidates would be granted fellowship. This list would contain names of only qualified candidates, and not all who appear in the exam. List can be downloaded from the table above.
KVPY Cutoff 2015
Cutoff is the benchmark of least marks which is set to delimit the number of candidates and restrict the count for allotment of fellowship. It is applied on several factors such as – number of fellowships to be granted, number of candidates, exam difficulty level, marking scheme, and last year trends. The cutoff marks for KVPY 2015, as announced by the conducting body are as below.
