KEAM 2017 CounsellingKEAM 2017 Counselling – Candidates who had received the allotment in the fourth round of KEAM 2017 counselling were required to take a print out of the allotment memo and remit the requisite fee on or before August 08. The seat allotment result after the completion of KEAM counselling round four was declared on August 04, 2017. The third round of KEAM 2017 seat allotment result was declared on July 20, 2017. KEAM seat allotment result for round 2 was declared on July 10 and the first round was announced on June 30 by CEE, Kerala. The candidates are allotted seats based on the marks secured in the entrance examination. Candidates, after accepting their seats were required to report to the allotted institute for document verification after counselling rounds gets over. Such candidates should have fulfilled the eligibility criteria, register for KEAM 2017 counselling and filled their options for appearing in KEAM 2017 counselling rounds. KEAM 2017 Counselling Procedure

The counselling of KEAM 2017 is being carried out in the online mode. Candidates have to undergo all the steps given below:

Step 1) Online Registration of Options

The direct link to register the options for KEAM 2017 counselling has been provided below on this page. Candidates have to click on the link and then enter the following details:

  • Application number: The seven-digit number printed on the left top part of the Application form submitted by the candidate for KEAM 2017. The application number is also printed on the admit card of KEAM
  • Password: Candidates have to enter the same password created and used during the online application submission.
  • After entering the required credentials candidates have to log on to the ‘Option Registration Page’ by entering the following credentials:
  • Key Number: The Key number is the 16 digit alpha-numeric code which is provided prior to the commencement of KEAM counselling 2017. Candidates are advised not to disclose the key number to anyone.

Step 2) Registering/Saving of Options

  • After logging in, applicants have to register and save their options. The options entered by the candidates must be saved regularly by clicking on the ‘Save’ button.
  • Candidates must fill in the choices of Institute and courses as per their preference.
  • Candidates can cancel the existing options registered by the candidates by entering the number ‘0’ against that particular option to be cancelled. Candidates, then have to click on the ‘Update’ button.
  • Once the candidates complete the option entry, they can view their options.
  • If the candidate wants to change their options already registered, they may revise the options as desired and ensure that the options list has come as per their preferences.
  • Candidates have to take a printout of the registered options and keep it for future reference.

KEAM 2017 Counselling- Trial Seat Allotment

The CEE had made available Trial Seat Allotment on June 28. Through the trial allotment, candidates an idea about the chances of getting allotted to a course and college based on options and rank of the candidates. However, the trial allotment does not guarantee allotment in a college or course.

KEAM 2017 Seat Allotment

The list of first round KEAM 2017 seat allotment was released by CEE Kerala. Candidates are allotted seats as per their ranks obtained in KEAM 2017. CEE has released the vacant seats and closing rank for round 1 of KEAM 2017 seat allotment. The candidates who accept the fees had to remit the fees as given below. The candidates, however, had to report to the Institute after completion of all rounds of counselling. The result displays the name of the institute to which the candidate has been allotted along with the requisite fee amount.

KEAM 2017 Admission Fee

Candidates have to remit the prescribed course fee for the allotted course after the first round of seat allotment between July 01 to 05. Candidates can remit the fee in both online and offline (SBI Challan) mode. Candidates who do not remit the fee on or before the prescribed date will lose their allotment and their Those candidates who do not remit the fee on or before the date prescribed will lose their allotment as well as all the existing options in the stream to which the allotment belongs. The options once lost will not be available in the subsequent phases. Below is the course fee for the candidates.

Scholarship Management will set apart a sum of Rs. 3 lakhs for a batch of 60 students to be provided as scholarship in the form of Tuition Fee Waiver in accordance with GO(Ms)No. 689/2013/H.Edn dated: 16.11.2013.


This fee concession benefit will be available to the candidates only after completion of allotment
process. Hence candidates should remit the full fee prior to taking admission. Balance fee will be refunded to the candidates.

KEAM 2017 CounsellingOnline Option Confirmation

Candidates who having valid options and willing to participate in the subsequent round of KEAM 2017 counselling have to confirm their options. The facility for Online Option Confirmation was made available online before each phase of allotment. Candidates have to log in to their Option Registration Page and confirm their options by clicking the ‘Confirm’ button. Candidates can delete their unwanted options or alter the priority of existing options only after confirming the online option registered by them.

KEAM 2017 Spot Seat Allotment

After the completion of KEAM 2017 counselling, a Spot allotment round might be held for filling up the remaining vacant seats, if any. Candidates who have been included in the rank list and have not been allotted a seat can attend the Spot allotment/admission Process. Candidates admitted in Government Merit Seat in a Government Controlled Self Financing College is allowed to participate in Spot Admission for a Government College for any course.


KEAM 2017 Counselling- Document Verification

Candidates who have been allotted a seat through the counselling of KEAM 2017 have to report before the Principal/Head of the allotted Institution for admission with the following documents:

  • Admit card of KEAM 2017
  • Certificate to prove date of birth
  • Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended and Conduct Certificate
  • Original mark sheet and pass certificate of the qualifying examination
  • Eligibility certificate from any University in Kerala for candidates who have passed a qualifying examination other than Higher Secondary Examination/Vocational Higher Secondary Examination conducted by Government of Kerala/ CBSE/ CISCE
  • Migration Certificate, if applicable
  • Physical Fitness Certificate
  • Fee payment receipt
  • Data sheet of KEAM 2017
  • Allotment Memo issued by the CEE.
  • Any other documents required by the Head of Institution
