KEAM 2017 Application FormKEAM 2017 Application Form – The application form of KEAM 2017 was available from February 01 to March 09. The application form was available only in the online mode. The provision to submit it offline was not provided. CEE, the conducting body of KEAM 2017, has only invited eligible candidates to apply for the entrance exam, which will be held on April 24 and 25, 2017. The admit card for the candidates who have successfully applied for KEAM 2017 will be available online from April 10 onwards. Requirements to Fill KEAM 2017 Application Form

Before filling up the application form, candidates must ensure that they have the following requirements ready:

  • Valid Email ID and Mobile number
  • Scanned copies of recent passport sized photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression.
  • Birth Certificate/SSLC/Passport
  • Income Certificate of the Parents
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/ Community Certificate (If applicable)
  • Special Reservation Certificate, if any

Procedure to fill KEAM 2017 Application Form

Students seeking admission at the engineering institutions in the state of Kerala have to appear in KEAM 2017 for which they will require filling up the application form. The application process includes six basic steps as given below:

Online Registration – Click here to Apply

Step1) Registration: Candidates will require clicking on the link given above. A declaration page will be displayed on the screen. Candidates have to read all the instruction carefully, mark a tick against each declaration tab and then click on the ‘Proceed for Registration’ button. On the registration page, candidates have to enter the following details:

  • Name of the Applicant
  • Date of Birth
  • Email ID
  • Confirm Email ID
  • Mobile Phone Number
  • Choose your Password
  • Re-type Password
  • Type the code
  • Click on the ‘Proceed for Registration’ button

After successfully completing the registration, a confirmation page will be displayed on the screen. If the candidates are sure about the details entered, click on the ‘Confirm’ button. The application number of 7 digits will be displayed. Candidates must keep note it down for future login.

Step 2) Uploading of Images: Applicants have to upload scanned images of their recent coloured passport sized photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression. Details for each of the scanned images is given below:


  • The passport size photograph must be in colour with a light coloured background, preferably white.
  • The candidate’s face in the photograph must be clear, straight and at the centre.
  • In the photograph, candidates must not be wearing caps or dark glasses.


  • Candidates should put the signature clearly on a plain white sheet with blue/black ink.
  • Candidates have to scan the signature and then crop the same so that it is clearly visible.

Left Thumb Impression

  • Candidates have to put the left thumb impression on an ink pad.
  • After putting the thumb impression, candidates have to get the image cropped.

Step 3) Filling up of Application Form

At this step, candidates have to fill all the mandatory items in the application form. Candidates have to fill in the following details:

Special Reservation

  • Select claim for Special Reservation Quota, if any
  • Do you claim reservation for Person with Disabilities (PD)

After entering all the required details, candidates must preview the entries made by clicking on ‘Save & Preview’ button before the final submission. Once the verification is done, applicants have to click on the Declaration and then the ‘Final Submission’ button to submit the application form.

Step 4) Pay Application Fee

Candidates will require paying the application fee by clicking on ‘Pay Application Fee’ button and select any one of the following modes:

Online Payment: Candidates can make the payment through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card.

E-Challan: Applicants have to take a print out of the e-Challan by clicking on ‘Print e-Challan’ and make the payment in cash in the following:

  • Selected branches of State Bank of Travancore (SBT) in India
  • All Head and Sub Post Offices in Kerala state.

After depositing the requisite fee, candidates have to login into their account and click on the ‘Payment’ tab to make sure that the fee status has been updated.

Step 5) Print Application Form

After successfully completing the payment process, candidates have to take a print out of their application form by clicking on the ‘Print Application’. After taking the print out, candidates have to follow the following steps:

  • In the printed form, candidates have to affix their passport sized photograph similar to he one uploaded at the time of filling the online form.
  • The form must be attested by any Government Gazetted officer or by the Principle of the Institution where the candidates have last studied.
  • Along with the form, applicants have to attach the self attested copy of Birth Certificate/SSLC/relevant page of Passport.
  • Candidates have to attach original Income certificate obtained from the Village Officer if details of annual income are provided in the form.
  • Original Community/ Non- creamy layer certificate obtained from the revenue authority must be attached if candidates have claimed any reservation.
  • If applicants have claimed any special reservation/PD/Inter caste, they have to attach certificate in support of their claim.

Step 6) Send the Application form

Candidates have to enclose the application with all the supporting documents in an A4 size envelope. An address slip will also be available with the print out copy of the form. Candidates have to enclose it along with the form and send it to the following address so as it reaches there by the last date specified for the receipt of application.

Important Documents for KEAM 2017 Application Form

Candidates have to enclose various documents along with the application form in the order as given below:

  • Proof of Nativity
  • Proof of Date of Birth
  • Course Certificate n Original or Self Attested copy of Mark list, if studied Sanskrit in Class XII
  • Original Community/Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, if communal reservation is claimed
  • Original Income Certificate, if desire to be considered for fee concession/EC status
  • Proof for Special Reservation, if claimed
  • Any other documents, if required

Instructions to Retrieve Password and Application Number

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to retrieve their password and application number:


In case, candidates cannot remember their password, they have click on the ‘Forgot Password’ button in the login page to enter their application number, Date of Birth and Email ID and submit it to receive a new password. It will be sent to the registered Email ID.

Application Number

In order to retrieve the application number, candidates have to select the ‘Forgot Application Number’ and enter their name, date of birth and password. The application number will be displayed on the screen.
