However submission of certificates funder sports category can be done untill May 15. Access the link given below. The candidates can modify the incorrect details filled in the KCET 2017 application form through the correction window, which was available from March 14 to 31, 2017. The candidates who filled and submitted the KCET application form 2017 on or before the due date can access the correction window. In order to access the correction window, candidates were required to enter the User ID and password, allotted to them while filling the KCET application form 2017. The link for the correction window is provided on this page. The last date to submit the application fee was extended until March 10, 2017. Only the candidates who successfully submitted the application form can download the KCET 2017 admit card from 2nd week of April 2017. How to make correction in KCET 2017 Application Form?

The facility to modify the changes in the application form of KCET 2017 has been made available from March 14, 2017. To edit the changes in the application form, follow the instructions mentioned below.

  • The candidates can click on the link to log in to the correction window.
  • Thereafter, enter the User ID and password which was given to the candidates while filling the application form of KCET 2017.
  • Click on the button ‘Send OTP number’. An OTP (One Time Password) will be send to the registered mobile number.
  • After entering the OTP number and enter the security code in the required space. After that, click on ‘Login’
  • The candidates will be able to modify the changes in the KCET 2017 application form.
  • After modifying, click on ‘Declare’ button.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ button to submit the application form. If the candidates fails to submi the application form of KCET 2017, the details filled in the form will be restored.
  • All the aspirants are advised to take a print out of the KCET application form 2017 for future preferences.

Requirements for KCET 2017 Application Form

Before filling up the Application Form of KCET 2017, applicants must be ready with the following items:

  • Valid Email ID and mobile number
  • Scanned copy of the candidate’s latest Photograph, Signature and Left Hand Impression and Parent Signature

Candidates have to follow few basic steps to complete the application process to apply for KCET 2017. Check the step by step process given below:

Step 1) Registration:

  • Whether the student is a citizen of India?
  • Did you appear for Karnataka 2nd PUC Annual Examination 2017 (Science)?
  • If yes, enter the 13 digit “Student No.” assigned by PUE Department
  • Name of the Candidate
  • Name of the Father
  • Name of the Mother
  • Gender
  • Date of Birth
  • Contact Mobile Number
  • E-Mail ID
  • User-ID
  • Password
  • Re-enter Password
  • Secret Question
  • Answer
  • Security Code

  • I have downloaded the Information Booklet and I have read the instructions carefully to enter application online

Note  All fields marked with Asterisk (*) are mandatory.

After entering details in all the required fields, click on the ‘Submit’ button. The application number and user ID will be displayed on the screen. It will also be sent to the registered mobile number and Email ID. Candidates have to click on the ‘Click Here’ button displayed o login and proceed to fill up the application form.

On the login page, candidates have to enter the following credential and click on the ‘Login’ button:

  • User Id
  • Password
  • Security
  • Code

Step 2) Filling of Online Application Form

In the form, the candidate’s name, mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth, Gender, mobile number and the Email ID will already be mentioned. Applicants have to enter the following details on the application form:

Student Information

  • Mother Tongue (As per school/ college record)
  • Annual income of the Family
  • Religion
  • Nationality
  • Reservation Category
  • Enter the name of the Caste
  • Enter Caste/ Category/ income Certificate number
  • Select Eligibility Clause Code
  • Select a location to write the Common Entrance Examination

Examination Details

  • University/ Board Name
  • School Name
  • Are you appearing for Karnataka 2nd PUC Annual Examination 2017 (Science)?
  • PUC Student Number
  • Otherwise, enter the year of Graduation
  • Have you studied in Rural area of Karnataka from 1st to 10th standard?
  • Have you studied in Kannada Medium from 1st to 10th standard?

Details of Appearing Previous CET Exams

  • Have you Appeared for Previous CET Exam?

  • Have you obtained any seat in CET and taken admission to college

After entering all the required details, save them and then click on “Save and Next” button.

Study Details

In this section, candidates have to enter the following study details from class 1 to II PUC/ Class XII/ Qualifying Examination:

  • Name and Address of the school/ College with Telephone Number
  • Classes Studied
  • Year of Study From
  • Year of Study to
  • Year of Passing

After entering all the required details, save them and then click on “Save and Next” button.

Step 3) Uploading of Scanned Images

In this step, applicants will require uploading the scanned images of their photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression and signature of parents.

After completing all the above mentioned steps, applicants have to take the draft printout, and carefully verify the entries. For making any changes, they will have to login and make the changes before selecting the declaration.

After the scanned images are successfully uploaded, the Declaration page will be displayed on the screen. Candidates will require making a tick on the ‘I Agree’ box and click on ‘Next’ button to make the fee payment.

Step 4) Payment of Fees

After successfully submitting the details in the form, applicants have to pay the required fee only through e- challan to complete the application process. Check the payment procedure below

  • Candidates have to download and take a print out of the triplicate e-challan copy to make the payment for the application form.
  • In the challan, the name of the candidate, CET Number, College/Course Allotted details, payment amount and Bank account number will be mentioned.
  • Candidates have to make the payment at e-Post Office or in any of the Bank specified below.
  • The Bank/e-Post office will retain their copy after making the payment and hand overx the remaining two copies back to the candidates. The copies must be secured safely for future reference.
  • Candidates residing outside India have to pay the fees in the form of Demand Draft. It should be drawn in favour of the Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, payable at Bangalore. Before sending it to the KEA address, applicants must ensure that the application number is mentioned on it.

Candidates paying the fee through e-challan have to go to any of the branches of the following banks to submit the application fee:

  • State Bank of Mysore
  • Indian Bank
  • State Bank of Hyderabad

Post Formalities- KCET 2017 Application Form

  • After the final submission, candidates must download and take two or three printouts of KCET 2017 Application Form.
  • The form should be duly attested by a Gazetted Officer/ Principal of the school where the student had studied/ studying.
  • The attestation is compulsory for all the applicants.
  • Candidates have to submit the duly attested application form during the time of document verification.
