KCET 2017 application date extends to March 8


KCET 2017 application date extendsThe last date of KCET 2017 application form has been extended to March 8 as per the latest notification from the conducting authority, Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The online registration date has been extended by one week to enable more candidates to fill the application form of KCET 2017.

Earlier, the last date for submitting the KCET 2017 application form was February 28, 2017,  and for paying the examination fee was March 02, 2017. However, with the extension of the application deadline the last date for payment of fees is March 10, 2017.  The application procedure of KCET 2017 began on January 27, 2017.

“As per the request from many candidates and parents the last date to submit application online is extended” KEA said in its notification.

To fill in the application form of KCET 2017 candidates have to register themselves online. Once the registration is completed candidates will be able to access the application form and enter their personal, educational and other important details in it. Candidates must pay the requisite application fees before the last date. The fees can be paid through e-challan at e-post office or in the given banks. After successful payment candidates have to download and take a print out of the filed in application form. Candidates must get the KCET application form attested by the Gazetted Officer/Principal of the school last studied and retain it safely as they will require the produce the same at the time of KCET Counselling.

KCET 2017 will be held on May 02 and 03, 2017 and the language test for Horandu and Gadinadu Kannadiga will be held on May 4, 2017 across 54 exam centres in India. The candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of the marks secured in the entrance test. Through KCET 2017 around 220 colleges will offer admission into various B.Tech courses to the eligible candidates.
