JEE Main 2017 result announced on April 27JEE Main result 2017 announced on April 27 – The wait for JEE Main 2017 result has finally ended. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the result of JEE Main 2017 exam on April 27. The candidates who had appeared for JEE Main exam, which was conducted on April 2 (pen & paper mode) and April 8 and 9 (online mode), can now check their result online. On the basis of JEE Main score, the candidates can seek admission in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). JEE Main 2017 result will also be used to determine the eligibility of candidates for JEE Advanced 2017 exam which will be held on May 21.

 

JEE Main Result 2017 – How to Check?

The candidates are required to submit the required credentials (registration number/ roll number and password) to view the result. It is important to note that the scorecard will not be sent to the candidates personally. JEE Main 2017 result can only be checked online.

JEE Main score 2017 has been calculated solely on the basis of candidate’s score in JEE Main 2017 exam. The marks obtained by the candidates in class 12th have not been considered for preparing the result. JEE Main Result 2017 contains several important details such as –

  • Total score
  • Category wise rank

Apart from the ranks and marks obtained by the candidates, JEE Main 2017 scores also display the status of the candidates who qualify for JEE Advanced exam. The result for Paper 2 (for B.Arch. / B. Planning courses) will be announced on May 27. The candidates who are successful in JEE Main 2017 exam can register online for JEE Advanced between Apr 28 – May 2 (until May 4 with late fee).

JEE Main Result 2017 – Number of Seats

JEE Main scores are used for admissions in NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. Take a look at the table given below for the number of seats available in these institutes –
