Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2015 has been conducted. Candidates wrote the Paper-1 (for B.E/ B.Tech) from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Whereas, the Paper-2 (for B.Arch/ B.Planning) was held between 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Over 10 lakh candidates took the exam. It was written in offline mode. In Paper-1, there were three section of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Also, the each section was for 120 marks and carried 30 question each. Similarly, the Paper-2 also contained three sections, but for Mathematics, Drawing and Aptitude. The details of JEE Main Paper-2 are as below.
- There were three sections in the paper
- Section one, was for Mathematics. It consist of 30 questions. Each question in this section was for 4 marks each
- Section two, the Aptitude section had 50 MCQ’s, which were again for 4 marks each
- Section three, for Drawing consist of two questions but each question was for 70 marks each
JEE Main Paper-2, is written by aspirants of B.Arch and B.Planning. Along NATA, it is the biggest entrance examination for admission of candidates into UG architecture courses. Various colleges across the nation will write the exam.
Now, the paper will be held in online mode, on 10 and 11 April 2015. Online exam will not be held for Paper-2 (for B.Arch/ B.Planning). CBSE will upload the answer key and the OMR, on the official website. Both will be available from 18 April to 22 April 2015. Candidates will be able to challenge the key by the sending a written letter to CBSE, along DD of Rs. 500. After concluding the facility to avail answer key, the Board will announce the result, on 27 April 2015, and the AIR on 7 July 2015.
