General Analysis of JEE Main 2015
The exam was for 360 marks and candidates were supposed to solve 90 questions in three hours. The syllabus of the exam was the same as that of class XI and XII. Each question is of 4 marks and for marking the wrong answer, negative marking of 1/4 mark is deducted. Candidates who wrote the examination today, felt that the most difficult section was of Physics. However, Mathematics section was comparatively easy. - There were 30 questions, which as per our team of experts required to 60 minutes to solve.
90% questions, were from NCERT syllabus. - Out of 30 questions, 16 were from class XI syllabus. However, the rest of the questions covered topics from class XII.
- Maximum questions, almost 30%, were form Calculus and, unexpectedly, 4 question were from 3D Geometry and Vector Algebra
- Distribution of questions, according to the level of difficulty is as below:

2. Number of Moderate Questions : 6
3. Number of Difficult Questions: 4
4. Number of Very Difficult Questions: 2
