According to an important notification released by central board of secondary education (CBSE) stated on 8 January 2014, it has been found out that some of the applicants have not uploaded their scanned image, signature and thumb impression in the application form in the correct format and manner. The official authority will send an email and SMS to all such candidates on their registered email id and contact numbers. It is also communicated to the candidates that only those candidates who have receive an email or SMS regarding this issue must visit the official website and make the necessary corrections. The facility to rectify the mistakes will be available until 25 January 2014 therefore, it is advised to the candidates to look into the issues as soon as possible.
The facility of making the corrections in other data will also be available on the official website from 1 February 2014 to 15 February 2014. The CBSE authorities also communicated the concern of certain students regarding the clash of board exam dates with the dates of computer based examination (JEE Main). Such candidates must send a copy of their class XII admit card and mention their JEE Main application form number and mail it on www.jeemain.nic.in latest by 15 March 2013, these candidates will be allotted different available dates of the computer based or online mode exam.
