Delhi High Court has directed all the IITs to get the response of candidates on JEE Advanced 2014 Answer Key prior to evaluation of JEE Advanced 2014 Answer Sheet. In response to a PIL filed by Professor Rajiv Kumar, IIT Kharagpur, high court passed an order on 28 May 2014 to check on his claim of ambiguous questions found in JEE each year.
As a result of which, Delhi High Court has directed IIT Kharagpur to invite candidates’ comments and suggestions on correction in JEE Advanced 2014 Answer Key which was published yesterday on 1 June 2014.
Now, IIT Kharagpur will consider the inputs of candidates and consider the objections raised about the questions. Thereafter necessary corrections will be made in the JEE Advanced 2014 Answer Key before JEE Advanced 2014 ORS Answer Sheet is evaluated.
Students and various private coaching institutes have welcomed this decision regarding it as a positive step in making the process of JEE Advanced 2014 more transparent. However the PIL also raises doubts on JEE Advanced 2014 Exam process as a whole and questions its credibility.
