How has the QS Survey identified the Top Employable Institutes?
The QS Survey has relied on the responses of around 1,239 Universities and over 44,000 responses gathered from over a year to compile the QS Graduate Employability Ranking. The parameters that were reviewed by the UK-based provider of education services, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) include employers’ presence on campus, partnerships with employers, employer reputation, graduate employment rate and alumni outcomes. IIT Kharagpur managed to bag a respectable spot because of the employers’ presence and the pre-placement offers that were made to its students during the 2015-16 academic year.
Some of the other Indian Institutes that have also made their presence in the top 200 Employable Institutes across the globe include IIT Madras which has been ranked at 119, IIT Delhi which has been ranked at 160 and the University of Delhi which has been ranked at 175.
