IISER 2017 Participating Institutes – IISER will conduct admissions through KVPY 2016 and JEE Advanced 2017. The Participating Institutes of IISER 2017 enlists all the details related to all Indian Institute of Science Education and Research. All IISERs will accept admission to its five-year BS-MS Dual Degree course through any of the three streams KVPY, JEE Advanced 2017 or State and Central Boards (SCB). Aspirants seeking admission through SCB stream have to appear in IISER Aptitude Test 2017 for admission to IISER 2017 Participating Institutes. Important Points related to IISER 2017 Participating Institutes
- Applicants will be called to appear in the seat allotment process for admission to IISERs, as per the stream is chosen by them.
- Candidates must choose their preferences wisely before appearing in seat allotment process for IISER Admissions 2017.
- Candidates aspiring for admission to IISER must attend the IISER 2017 Counselling process.
- Candidates will be admitted in IISER Institutes through the following streams:
Candidates having a valid KVPY fellowship commencing from 2016-17 academic session are eligible to apply for admissions. Additional cut off criteria may be applicable.
Candidates in General category securing a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2017 are eligible to apply. For candidates belonging to reserved category (OBCNC, SC, ST, PD), their category rank would be used. Additional cut off criteria may be applicable.
Students who have passed (10+2) level with science stream in 2016 or 2017 with marks equal or above the cut off percentage in their respective boards as given in the table below are eligible to apply.
