HPCET 2017 application process begins, apply before April 29The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has started the online registration of HPCET 2017 for B.Tech aspirants on March 02, 2017. The entire Application Process will be carried out in the online mode. The Aadhaar number has been made compulsory to fill up the application form. The last date to fill up the Application Form of HPCET 2017 is April 29, 2017 . In order to validate the form candidates also have to pay the HPCET 2017 application fee through internet banking or debit/credit card or by generating PNB challan. It is important to fill the application form in all respect as only those candidates who have successfully registered for HPCET 2017 will be issued the admit card for the common entrance test scheduled to be held on May 13, 2017. Procedure to fill HPCET 2017 Application Form

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to successfully apply for HPCET 2017:

Registration: Candidates have to register and create an account by filling up the registration form. Candidates have to enter their name, username, password, date of birth, email ID and mobile number and click on the ‘Create Account’ button. Upon successful registration, the username, form number and password will appear on the screen. The same will also be intimated to the registered email ID of the candidates.

Filling up of HPCET Application Form– Candidates have to login with their username, form number and password to continue filling up the application form of HPCET 2017. Candidates have to enter the following details in the form:

  • Personal information
  • Academic details
  • Communication details

Uploading of Scanned ImagesCandidates have to upload the scanned images of their recent passport sized photograph and signature as per the prescribed format as given below:

After submitting, all the details entered in the application form will appear on the screen. Candidates must check all the details entered in the form and rectify the mistakes before the final submission.

Payment of HPCET 2017 Application Fee– Candidates have to pay the application fee amount through net banking, Debit/Credit card or by generating PNB Challan. The application fee is non refundable. After the successful payment, the bank transaction number will be generated that candidates have to enter the payment detail page of the application form. The fee amount for different categories in given below in the table

Note: Candidates who have paid the application fee through PNB Challan, they will be able to enter the bank transaction number two days after depositing the requisite application fee amount.

Print out of the HPCET Application Form- After all the above steps are completed, candidates will require taking out the print out of the form, get it signed by their parents/guardian and mail it to himtuadmission@gmail.com or send it through post to the address given below. The form must reach the University latest by May 01, 2017.
