GCET Exam Pattern 2018 – The exam pattern of GCET 2018 is defined by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa. GCET exam pattern 2018 consists details about the various aspects of the entrance test such as total number of questions, papers, marking scheme, question type, duration etc. As per the exam pattern of GCET 2018 candidates have to appear in three papers- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The GCET 2018 will be conducted in the pen & paper based mode and duration for each paper is 2 hours. GCET Exam Pattern 2018
Candidates appearing in GCET 2018 have to appear on May 8 and 9. The Goa CET 2018 exam is an offline exam and candidates must carry just the pens and pencils to the exam hall along with their GCET Admit Card 2018. Candidates can check GCET exam pattern 2018 such as examination mode, type of questions, total questions, duration, marks, marking scheme below:
Examination mode– GCET 2018 will be held in the online mode.
Papers– Candidates have to appear in all the three papers.
Medium– The question paper of GCET 2018 will be in English.
Duration– Candidates will be given a total duration of 2 hours for each paper. The schedule for both the papers is given below in the table:

GCET 2018 Exam Guidelines
DTE Goa has defined important instructions to be followed in the examination centre. Candidates can check GCET exam guidelines given below:
- GCET admit card – Candidates must carry the printed copy of GCET admit card and their original photo identity card to the examination hall.
- Identity verification – The invigilator present in the examination centre will verify the identity of the candidates. Candidates, who fail to verify their identity they will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
- Items not allowed – Candidates will not be allowed to carry any kind of electronic devices such as mobile phone, cellular phones, pagers, palmtops, bluetooth device or any electronic device inside the GCET 2018 examination hall.
- Reporting time – Candidates must reach at the allotted examination centre well in advance. No student will be allowed to enter the hall after the commencement of the examination.
GCET Syllabus 2018
Questions in GCET 2018 will be framed based on the syllabus prescribed for the entrance test. The syllabus of GCET 2018 consists of all the subject areas from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics studied in standard XII science syllabus as prescribed by Goa Board.
About GCET 2018 – DTE Goa conducts GCET, for admission to B.Tech courses offered by 5 institutes of Goa. To appear in GCET candidates have to fill up the application form online and submit it within the given period of time. GCET will be held on May 8 and 9, 2018 in around 15 centres of Goa.
