The admit card of JEE Main 2017 has been released on March 14, 2017, by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the examination authority of Joint Entrance Examination. To download the admit card of JEE Main 2017 candidates have to enter their application number, date of birth and security pin. The JEE Main admit card will be available only in the online mode and candidates have to download it. The JEE Main admit card will not be sent by post or any other means to the candidates. Candidates must ensure to retain the JEE Main admit card 2017 safe until the counselling and admission procedure gets over as it will be required at various stages of admission for identity verification.
At the time of downloading the JEE Main 2017 admit card, candidates have to enter/update their class 12/HSC roll number. The concerned institution will use the roll number to authenticate the identity of the candidates at the time of admission to undergraduate engineering programmes (B.Tech/B.Arch).

Candidates are advised to check all the details mentioned on the JEE Main 2017 admit card carefully. In case of any discrepancy, they must contact JEE (Main) Secretariat for necessary correction.
CBSE will conduct JEE Main 2017 in the offline mode on April 2, 2017, whereas the computer-based test (CBT) will be held on April 8 & 9, 2017. Candidates who have opted to take JEE Main 2017 in the online mode, must reach the exam centre as per the date and exam slot allotted to them.
As per the exam pattern of JEE Main 2017 set by CBSE, both Paper 1 and 2 will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours. The question booklet will have 90 multiple choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with equal weightage. As per the marking scheme, for every correct response candidates will be awarded 4 marks and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted. There will be no negative marking for unanswered question.
