CEED 2018 exam on January 20, registration begins from October 9The Common Entrance Exam for Design commonly known as CEED will be conducted by IIT Bombay on January 20, 2018. According to the information brochure released by IIT Bombay on September 15, 2017, CEED application form will be available online from October 9 to November 10, 2017.

CEED application fee for female, SC/ST/PwD candidates is Rs. 1100 and Rs. 2200 for all other candidates. Students filling CEED application form from November 11 to 17 have to pay a late fee of Rs. 500 along with the requisite application fee.

CEED 2018 admit card will be issued admit card from December 25 till January 20, 2018. In case candidates find any discrepancy in their CEED 2018 admit card, they must ensure to rectify it on or before January 5.

The result of CEED will be declared on March 5 by IIT Bombay. CEED 2018 score card will be valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the result.

CEED is a computer-based test to be conducted in 20 cities across India. Candidates qualifying CEED 2018 will be eligible for admission to Master of Design (MDes) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IIT Kanpur, and to Ph.D programmes in Design at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIT Kanpur. As per CEED exam pattern, there will be two parts in the entrance exam. Part A will contain objective type questions while questions in part B will assess candidates’ testing design, drawing and writing skills.
