BITSAT 2018 – BITS admission test (BITSAT) is conducted by BITS Pilani for admission to B.E courses offered by the institute. BITSAT 2018 is a computer based test likely to be held in around 47 Indian cities in May 2018. The application form of BITSAT will be released online in the last week of December 2017. BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2018
BITS Pilani has laid down some criteria that candidates have to satisfy for admission to B.E courses. Candidates can check BITSAT eligibility criteria 2018 below:
- Academic qualification– Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 75% in aggregate.
- Direct admission to Board toppers– First rank students of all the central and state boards in India will be given direct admission to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2018 score.

BITSAT Exam Centres 2018
BITS Pilani will conduct BITSAT 2018 in around 47 cities across the country. Candidates have to choose three BITSAT exam cities in order of their preference while filling the application form. At the time of selecting the exam city, candidates must be very careful as once allotted it cannot be changed under any circumstances. BITSAT exam centre allotted to the candidates can be checked online in March 2018.
BITSAT Slot Booking 2018
As BITSAT 2018 will be held in multiple days, test takers have to book the exam date and time as per their convenience. Each day the exam will be conducted in two slots. The first slot will be from 9:00 am till 12:00 pm and the second slot will be from 2:00 pm till 5:00 pm. BITSAT slot booking will be done online on a first-come-first-served basis.
BITSAT Admit Card 2018
The admit card of BITSAT will be issued by BITS, Pilani in April. BITSAT hall ticket will be available online and candidates can download it through their application number, gender, date of birth and Email Id. BITSAT 2018 admit card will bear details such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, venue, slot etc. Only those candidates who will successfully book their slots for the entrance test will be issued BITSAT admit card.
BITSAT Exam Pattern 2018
BITSAT exam pattern 2018 is defined by BITS Pilani based on which the question pattern is structured. As per BITSAT 2018 exam pattern, candidates will be asked questions from four sections namely, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. The English section is further divided into two sections – English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning. The test will have 150 questions in total of 450 marks. As per the marking scheme, 3 marks is alloted for very correct answer while for every incorrect response 1 mark is deducted. The total duration of the entrance test will be of three hours.

BITSAT Syllabus 2018
The syllabus of BITSAT 2018 consists topics from the four different sections prescribed for the test. BITSAT test will be conducted on the basis of NCERT syllabus for class 11 and 12. Candidates appearing for BITSAT must have complete knowledge about the syllabus and cover it thoroughly to secure good marks in the online admission test. BITSAT Sample Papers 2018

BITSAT Answer Key 2018
The answer key of BITSAT 2018 will consist correct answers to all the questions asked in the entrance examination. With the help of BITSAT answer key 2018, candidates can cross check their responses and calculate the probable marks that they might obtain in the examination. Through BITSAT 2018 answer key candidates can analyse their performance and know their chances of qualifying the exam.
BITSAT Result 2018
After the completion of the test, the result of BITSAT 2018 will be displayed on the computer screen. BITSAT result will comprise the total number of correct and incorrect responses along with the score obtained by the candidates. BITs Pilani will also publish the scores online in the third week of May 2018. The admit and wait list will be out in the first week of July 2018. BITSAT admit list will include names of candidates, who will be eligible for iteration round 1 while the wait list includes names of candidates who might receive admission in subsequent iteration rounds.
BITSAT Cutoff 2018
BITSAT cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to get to qualify the entrance test. The cutoff of BITSAT 2018 will be released for each campus after the announcement of result. Candidates securing equal to or more than the announced BITSAT cutoff will be eligible to appear for counselling. Based on BITSAT 2018 cutoff, the authority will prepare merit list indicating the merit rank of qualified candidates for admission.
BITSAT Counselling 2018
The counselling of BITSAT is commonly known as iterations. Candidates have to apply for admission by filling the application form online. The application form for admission is likely to be released in the fourth week of May 2018. Candidates have to give details of their class 12 marks and preferences to different degree programmes offered by the institute. The first round of BITSAT 2018 counselling is likely to start in the first week of July 2018. The iteration result will be declared online and candidates can check it through their hall ticket/ application number and password.
