The Assam CEE admit card 2017 has been released by DTE, Assam on May 25. The admit card of Assam CEE 2017 can be downloaded by the candidates in online mode only. Assam CEE 2017 will be conducted on June 04, 2017 in offline mode for admission to B.Tech programme. The question booklet of Assam CEE 2017 will have total of 120 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The Assam CEE 2017 Syllabus for the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (Assam CEE) is same as the NCERT Syllabus prescribed by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council for 2017 Batch. The exam will be conducted for 3 hours.
Following the exam pattern of Assam CEE 2017, for each correct answer four marks will be awarded and there shall be a deduction of one mark for every wrong answer. No marks will be deducted for unanswered answer.
Assam Combined Entrance Examination (Assam CEE) 2017 will be held in 9 exam centres across the state of Assam. The merit list of CEE 2017 will be published by Directorate of Technical Education, Assam. On the basis of merit list of Assam CEE candidates will be selected for Admission into 6 B.Tech engineering colleges/institutes of Assam. Tie breaking resolution will be applied for two or more candidates obtaining the same rank as prescribed by the authority.
The candidates selected for admission must also fulfil all the eligibility criteria of Assam CEE for admission. Failing to do so will lead to disqualification of the candidates for admission. There are bonus marks of 5%, 7.5% & 10% awarded to the candidates who are son & daughter of the employees of DTE, Assam for Grade-I, II, III & IV respectively as per the government rules.
