AP PGECET 2017 – Andhra University has declared the result of AP PGECET 2017 in online mode on May 23. Candidates who have appeared for AP PGECET held from May 10 to 12, 2017, can now check their result. Candidates can download AP PGECET result from this page by entering registration number, date of birth and exam paper. AP PGECET answer key for all the 14 disciplines including Pharmacy was released on May 13 by Andhra University. Candidates could also raise an objection in regard to the answer key and challenge the same on or before May 15. Along with the answer key, the OMR sheet of candidates was also uploaded online. The Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) was conducted in 12 test centres across India for 13 M.Tech programmes. The application form of AP PGECET 2017 was available on March 03 to April 6. The admit card of AP PGECET 2017 was made available from April 29, 2017. For admission, GATE/GPAT qualified candidates will be given first preference based on their scores and the later seats will be filled on the basis of the marks obtained in AP PGECET 2017. AP PGECET 2017 Result
The result of AP PGECET 2017 has been declared on May 23 in the online mode. Candidates can check the result by submitting registration number, date of birth and exam paper for entrance test. AP PGECET result displays the rank along with the percentile and score obtained by the candidates in the entrance test. For the qualified candidates, the rank card will also be issued. Candidates have to submit the AP PGECET 2017 Rank Card during the counselling.

AP PGECET 2017 Answer Key
The answer key of the examination has been released by Andhra University on May 13. The answer key of AP PGECET is available online along with the OMR response sheet. Candidates can raise challenge in regard to AP PGECET answer key on or before May 15, 2017.
As per the eligibility criteria of AP PGECET 2017, following requirements had to be fulfilled.
- Candidate must be a citizen of Indian
- Candidates should have qualified GATE 2017
- Candidates should have finished B.Tech/B.E course, from a recognised college, with 50% aggregate. The same for the candidates belonging to ST/SC category is 45%.
To submit the application form of AP PGECET 2017, the candidates had to submit the application fee. Only after paying the application fee, the candidates were able to access the online application form. The fee amount was Rs. 600 (for SC/ST/PwD the amount is Rs. 300) and the candidates had to submit it through AP Online Centres or Debit/Credit Cards.
Once the fee amount was paid, the candidates were allotted a Transaction ID. Then, on the online portal, the candidates had to submit the Payment Source, Transaction ID, Mobile Number, Date of Birth, SSC Hall Ticket Number, and the Year of Passing SSC. Once all the details were filled, the candidate were registered and they were able to fill the details in the application form.
AP PGECET 2017 Exam Centres
The examination was conducted at six regional centres across the Andhra Pradesh. The centres are as below:
The admit card of the examination was released only on the official website and the candidates. To download it, candidates were required submitting the Registration Number and select the Test which they applied for.
The admit card is an important document and should be carried along the confirmation page and one photo id proof.

AP PGECET 2017 Sample Paper

AP PGECET 2017 Cutoff
To qualify the examination, the candidates should have secured at least 25% marks in AP Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test. Candidates who will surpass the cutoff marks will be called for the counselling of the examination.
AP PGECET 2017 Selection Procedure
The seat allocation in the AP PGECET participating institute will be done on the basis of GATE and AP PGECET 2017. However, firstly the seats will be filled through GATE 2017 and then APPGECET 2017 qualifiers will be considered to fill the unfilled seats.
AP PGECET 2017 Counselling
Qualified candidates must attend the counselling, as prescribed on the counselling call letter. The candidates will have to register and fulfil the document verification procedure in person. For registration, candidates will have to remit the fee of Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 for SC/ST/PH) category candidates. The amount is non-fundable but mandatory to be paid.
After the registration, candidates will have to collect their scratch cards. In it, serial number and password will be given, using it candidates will be able to submit the preferences for the courses and college. Then, as per the entered data, the seat allotment result will be announced and the candidates will have to confirm their seat.
