AP EAMCET 2016 Reservation of Seats
According to the AP EAMCET Reservation of Seats 2016, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) will be provided reservation of 6% in the non-minority institutes whereas the candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) will be granted relaxation of 15% in professional unaided non-minority institutes. As far as Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates are considered, they will be provided reservation of 25% according to EAMCET 2016 Seat Reservation.
The candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped (PH) category with hearing, visualizing and orthopaedic disabilities will be provided 3% horizontal reservation in ST, SC and OBC categories. The AP EAMCET 2016 Reservation of Seats of 2% will also be available for the candidates whose father will be working under BSF, CRPF and staying in Andhra Pradesh at least from last 5 years or will an Ex-servicemen.
The other reservations provided to the candidates of different sections as per the Seat Reservation of AP EAMCET 2016 are as mentioned below:
- Active participants of NCC will be eligible to get 1% seat reservation in the exam.
- Candidates will also be able to get a reservation of 0.5% in sports quota under games category.
- Female candidates from any of the category or section will be provided the reservation of 33%.
NOTE: Applicants must notice that the reservation norms will not be applicable if the candidates are selected on the basis of the merit and if the total female candidates are lesser, then their reservation will be passed on to the male applicants of the same category.
