AKTU conducted UPSEE 2017UPSEE 2017 exam conducted successfully on April 16 at various designated centres across Uttar Pradesh and other states of India. The examination authority Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow has conducted UPSEE 2017 exam for admission to around 1.5 lakh undergraduate engineering seats in more than 350 B.Tech affiliated colleges.

Majority of candidates who appeared in UPSEE 2017 found overall paper was moderate in terms of difficulty. Most of questions asked in the exam were of similar difficulty level as compared to previous year. UPSEE 2017 was conducted in morning session for three hour duration beginning from 10 am to 1 pm.


The questions booklet of UPSEE 2017 had 150 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each subject had 50 questions of 4 marks each. As per the marking scheme, candidates will secure 4 marks for each correct response and no marks will be deducted to any wrong answer. However, a record of incorrect answers given by a candidate will be kept separately and will be used during tie breaking.

Candidates who appeared in the exam can download UPSEE 2017 answer key as and when it will be released by examination authority. The answer key of UPSEE will be released on or before May 30. Based on the answer key candidates can evaluate their score as per the correct and incorrect responses marked by them during the entrance exam.

The result of UPSEE 2017 will be declared on or before May 30. The examination authority will declare result for only those candidates who will secure qualifying marks in the entrance test. General category candidates have to score 25% (150 marks out of 600) to qualify UPSEE 2017. While the qualifying marks for SC/ST category candidates is 20% (120 marks out of 600).

All the successful candidates will be called for counselling according to their merit in UPSEE 2017 and allotment of seats will be done as per their rank in merit list and preference for courses and colleges.
