VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2017 has started from April 05, in online mode. The exam will be held in different slots and the candidates will have to appear in the examination as per their respective slot booked by them. VITEEE 2017 is the basis for the admission of deserving candidates to around 20 undergraduate engineering courses. The VITEEE will conclude on April 16.
The VITEEE question paper will be divided into four sections – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English. Each section will contain 40 questions and English will have 05 questions. The VITEEE paper will include a total of 125 questions, which must be completed in 02 hours 30 minutes. As per the VITEEE 2017 exam pattern, the one marks will be added to every correct answer and no provision for negative marking for incorrect answer.
The VITEEE 2017 is to be held in 116 exam centres across India and 03 international exam centres in Dubai, Kuwait and Muscat. The admission committee has allocated the VITEEE exam centres 2017 to the candidates as per their preferences filled in the application form.
The VIT University will declare the result of VITEEE 2017 tentatively on or before April 24, 2017. The admission committee will prepare the rank list based on marks of candidates. The notification for the counselling session will also be published by the university.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for the VITEEE counselling session in which seats will be allocated. The counselling of VITEEE is expected to commence from 1st or 2nd week of May 2017. On the basis of rank, the seats will be allotted to the candidates. The admission committee will conduct round II, in case of any vacant seats left.
Through VIT Engineering Entrance Examination 2017, which is to be held in different slots, around 5,000 B.Tech seats will be offered by four campuses of VIT University located at Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amaravati campuses.
