TNEA 2017 Application FormTNEA 2017 Application Form – The application form of TNEA has been made available by Anna University, Tamil Nadu, on May 01, 2017. The TNEA application procedure is carried out in the online mode. The last date for online registration is May 30, 2017. The printout of the filled in application form along with all the required enclosures must reach the University on or before June 03, 2017. To validate the form, candidates have to pay TNEA application fee through the electronic payment gateway. For the General category candidates, the fee is Rs. 500 whereas, SC/ST/SCA category candidates have to make a payment of Rs. 250. However, before filling up TNEA 2017 application form, candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the norms defined by the conducting authority. Ineligible candidates will not be granted admission and the application fee will not be refunded either. Only those candidates applying successfully for TNEA admission 2017 will be able to participate in the counselling process. The admission will be based on the marks obtained by candidates in Class XII or equivalent examination.   • Special Reservation Form (s) with DD and photocopy of the relevant certificate (s), if applicable.

Photocopy

  • Class X mark sheet
  • Class XII/Equivalent Mark sheet
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Permanent community certificate card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC and DNC, BC and BCM (either Permanent card or electronic form/digitally signed e- certificate)
  • HSC Admit Card
  • Nativity certificate, if applicable, in electronic form
  • First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration, if applicable, in electronic form
  • Certificate of Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee, if applicable

Procedure to Fill TNEA 2017 Application Form

The application form of TNEA is available in the online mode. Candidates have to follow the steps given below to successfully register for TNEA Admission 2017:

Step 1) Registration

Candidates have to click on the link given above and register by entering the following details:

  • Name (As appeared in class X mark sheet)
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Mobile number
  • Email
  • Class 12 registration number
  • Year of passing
  • Password
  • Confirm password
  • Enter OTP
  • Click on ‘Register’ button

Upon successful registration, candidates have to login with their email ID and password to continue filling up the application form of TNEA 2017

Step 2) Filling up of Online Application Form

In TNEA application form, candidates have to fill the following details:

  • Name of the Parent/Guardian
  • Address for communication
  • State
  • District
  • Pincode
  • Nationality
  • Nativity
  • Religion
  • Community
  • Name of community
  • Community code
  • Special reservation
  • Eminent sports person (Yes/No)
  • Details of first graduate in family
  • Whether you are willing to avail AICTE tuition fee waiver scheme
  • Eligibility for post matric scholarship
  • Annual income of parents
  • Medium of instruction
  • Mothe tongue
  • Occupation of parent/Guardian
  • Civic status of native place
  • Civic status of place of school
  • Native district

After entering all the required details, candidates have to click on ‘Save and Preview’ button. All the details as entered in the form will appear on the screen. Candidates can click on the ‘Edit personal details’ button to make any changes or modify the information. After verifying all the details, candidates have to click on ‘Save & Continue to Pay’ button to continue to the next step of the application procedure.

Step 3) Payment of Application Fee

It is mandatory for every applicant to pay the requisite amount to validate the form. The payment has to made in the online mode through Internet Banking/Credit card/ATM-cum-Debit card/SBI Buddy. No other mode of payment is accepted by the University.

Step 4) Filling up Academic Details

Upon successful payment of TNEA application fee, candidates have to enter academic details such as class 12 marks, Name of the Board, roll number etc.

Step 5) Final review and Printout of TNEA Application Form

After entering the academic details candidates must review the filled in online application form by clicking on the ‘Preview’ button. After verifying, candidates must take atleast two print out of the filled in application form of TNEA. Candidates have to submit one copy of the form to the University and the other copy must be retained by them for future reference.

Step 6) Submission of TNEA 2017 Application Form

All the candidates have to submit the print out of the application form either in person or via post. The form along with all the mandatory documents mentioned above must reach to the address given below on or before the last date for receipt of filled in online application form of TNEA 2017.
