SRM Engineering Entrance Exam 2012 (SRMEEE 2012) is conducted every year by SRM University in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, which is a deemed university. The entrance examination is mandatory for admission into engineering, technical, architecture and designing program at both undergraduate as well as at postgraduate level along with Master of Business Administration, Computer Application, and M.S. program in Total Quality Management (TQM), Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
Accreditation: The university is accredited by NAAC and other competent authorities. The electronics and communication engineering B.Tech program of SRM university is the first in India to get accredited by the engineering accreditation commission of ABET, USA, joining the league of world’s best universities
Placement: It is a celebration of success at SRM on placing 2,023 students on campus just in 7 days with TCS 1091, Wipro 406, HCL 235 and others. Scholarships: The students with above 95% in CBSE and state board examinations are eligible to apply for 50% fee waiver

Founder’s scholarship provides full waiver on tuition, books, hostels and mess, plus stipend Rs 1,000/- per month

Application forms are available at Lead branches of Axis bank, city union bank, Indian bank, Karur Vysya bank, state bank of India and post offices. Also from Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Delhi NCR campues
Test centres: 120 centers across all states in India
Eligibility (B.Tech): A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent
For all programs: Minimum of 50% individually in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and 60% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
For Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Food and Process Engineering, Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering: Minimum of 50% individually in Mathematics or Biology, Physics and Chemistry and 60% aggregate in Mathematics or Biology, Physics and Chemistry
B.Arch: A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent having a minimum total aggregate of 60% with English and Mathematics as subjects of study and a minimum score of 40% in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)
PG Programs: A pass with minimum aggregate of 60% in the qualifying examination
SRMEEE 2012 Important dates
The First advertisement was released on 27th November, 2011. Interested candidates can get the Application forms up to 31st March, 2012. Applications forms will be sold from about 1500 designated branches of various banks and post offices. Details regarding sale outlets are available on our website.
