SRM Engineering Entrance Exam 2012 (SRMEEE 2012) is conducted every year by SRM University in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, which is a deemed university. The entrance examination is mandatory for admission into engineering, technical, architecture and designing program at both undergraduate as well as at postgraduate level along with Master of Business Administration, Computer Application, and M.S. program in Total Quality Management (TQM), Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
SRMEEE 2012 Important dates
The First advertisement was released on 27th November, 2011. Interested candidates can get the Application forms up to 31st March, 2012. Applications forms will be sold from about 1500 designated branches of various banks and post offices. Details regarding sale outlets are available on our website.

To download Application Click here. The downloaded PDF application form has to be filled and couriered along with DD for Rs 750 drawn in favour of SRMIST payable at Chennai to Director, Admissions, SRM University, Kattankulathur - 603203, Kancheepuram District, Tamilnadu, India.
Purchase application form through the sales outlets (Click on the names to get details of addresses of sales outlet):

SRM University Campuses and Offices (Chennai | Delhi)
Write to Director, Admissions, SRM University, Kattankulathur - 603203, Kancheepuram District, Tamilnadu, India along with DD for Rs 750 drawn in favour of SRMIST payable at Chennai, with a covering letter mentioning clearly the complete postal address. Candidate should write their name and address on the reverse of the DD.
The complete application should be sent to the university so as to reach before the last date specified.
SRMEEE 2012 COUNSELING PROCEDURE
The eligible candidates, chosen on the basis of rank, would be called for counseling for final admission. The physical presence of the candidate during the counseling is mandatory.
Counseling Procedure for Allocation of Seats/Branch
The date/time for counseling will be intimated to the candidates by post, through SMS and will also be published in our university website: www.srmuniv.ac.in
Change of date/time of counseling is generally not permissible. If a candidate does not personally appear before the Admission Committee for counseling/Interview on the date and time specified, his/her seat shall be offered to the next candidate in order of merit.
The selected candidates will have to remit the prescribed fees by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "SRMIST", payable at Chennai, on confirmation of the seat, and acceptance of the branch allotted.
The candidates should produce the following documents in original along with one set of photocopies while reporting for counseling. Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counseling process without these documents.
Failure to pay the prescribed fees before the stipulated date and produce the original documents before the deadline will result in cancellation of the seat allotted.

- SRMEE - 2012 Rank Card / Hall Ticket (except for B.Arch).
- NATA score card for B.Arch only.
- High school (Class X) certificate as proof of date of birth.
- Marks sheet of qualifying examination.
- Community certificate (issued by the competent authority).
- DEMAND DRAFT for Rs. 75,000/- towards part of tuition fee or full tuition fee which ever is less. DD should be drawn in favour of "SRMIST" payable at CHENNAI. This includes Rs. 1,000/- towards counseling charges which is non - refundable but adjustable in the fees prescribed for the program for those who get admitted.

- Mark sheets/consolidated mark statement of the qualifying examination.
- Original degree/provisional certificate.
- Score card of other competitive examination (if relevant) eg. GATE, CAT, MAT etc.
- Community certificate (issued by the competent authority).
- DEMAND DRAFT for Rs. 75,000/- towards part of tuition fee or full tuition fee which ever is less. DD should be drawn in favour of "SRMIST" payable at CHENNAI.
