Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT) 2017 is to be held from April 22 to 25, for admission to 09 undergraduate engineering courses offered by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University. The admit card of SAAT 2017 can ber downloaded from April 20, onwards.
SAAT 2017 Exam Pattern
Below is the examination structure that the candidates need to follow while preparing for the SAAT 2017
The candidates will be given 2 hours (120 minutes) to write for the SAAT 2017 examination.Candidates must reach the SAAT 2017 Exam Centres half an hour prior to the examination. The candidates are expected to be seated in the exam hall 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam as declared earlier by Centre Superintendent. If any candidate completes the question paper before the specified time then they will receive a confirmation page with two options as follows:
- Either to go back to the test
- Or complete the test.
If any candidate wants to use the remaining time to recheck the answers they can do so by going back to the questions and also if they want to complete the test they can click on “submit” button.
Mode of Question Paper
The question paper of the entrance examination will be in English language only.
Question paper pattern
The SAAT 2017 exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions. In each section of the question paper, there will be 4 answer options. Candidates must choose the appropriate option from the question number and indicate the answer by clicking on the circle given beside the question. Candidates can move freely to any question. There will be two indications for the questions:
- Green colour– for answered question
- Blue colour – for unanswered question
Candidates can mark a question for “review” using “Mark for review button”. However, the candidates can change the answers to any question by clicking on the question and then change the answer.
Total no.of sections
There will be three sections in total for appearing in various B.Tech courses.
Total no.of questions
All the candidates have to answer 60 questions per section i.e. there will be 120 questions in total.
The total marks will be 480 as per SAAT 2017 Exam Pattern. Each correct question will carry 4 marks. There will also be negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
