Q1. What is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission?
Ans. The minimum academic qualification for admission is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 system or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and one out of Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology and Engineering Drawing.
Q2. What is the criteria for reservation of seats?
Ans. The reservation criteria is as follows:
- For Chandigarh students : 50% seats reserved ( Based on AIEEE 2012 score )
- For Other States students : 50% seats reserved ( Based on AIEEE 2012 score )

Q4. Do I need to apply separately for admission even after appearing in AIEEE?
Ans. Yes. The candidate will be considered for admission to these six institutes only if he submits his/her application separately.
Q5. Do I need to apply separately for each institution mentioned on your website?
Ans. No. Only one application is required for all six institutes.
Q6.Can a single application be made for multiple categories?
Ans. Yes. Every candidate has to submit only one application mentioning all categories in which he wants to avail reservation.
Q7.Is it compulsory to attend counseling myself?
Ans. Yes, physical presence of the candidate is mandatory.
Q8. If I do not attend first counseling will I be considered in subsequent counseling?
Ans. Yes.
Q9. If I take admission in first counseling and do not pay fees at the allotted institute will I still be eligible for next counseling?
Ans. Yes.
Q10. If I do not mention a particular category in my application, will I be considered for that on request at the time of counseling?
Ans. No.
Q11.If I am issued a certificate for seeking reservation after the closing date of application will that certificate be entertained?
Ans. No.
Q.12 If I take admission in one particular institute through Joint Admission Committee in first counseling and shift to some other institute in subsequent counseling, will the fees be adjusted?
Ans. No. Fees adjustment is only for institutes under Panjab University i.e. UIET, UICET and SSGPURC.
Q13. Is the counseling fee to be paid during all counseling?
Ans. No. Counseling fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be paid only once.
Q14. When will the application forms be available?
Ans. The application forms will be available in the last week of May.
