IIT JEE admissions will be done via JEE Main 2013 followed by JEE Advanced. The JEE Main 2013 Result will be announced today and can be seen at the following link:
IIT JEE has been scrapped from this year as two new exams have been introduced from next year. From next year onwards JEE Main and JEE Advanced will be conducted for admissions in IITs. Top 1.5 lakh candidates of JEE Main 2013 will be allowed to take the JEE Advanced 2013 exam which is the entrance level exam for admission in IITs.

IIT JEE 2013 answer sheets would be Optical Response Sheets and would be graded with extreme care. Thus, the IIT JEE 2013 Result would be prepared on a completely unbiased basis around the third week of May 2013.
The IIT JEE 2013 Result will be announced in the form of an All India Merit List, in which candidates will be arranged in the order of increasing All India Ranks (AIR) and Category Ranks. The candidates can know their IIT JEE 2013 Result through SMS/IVRS/IIT JEE 2013 Websites also.
However, prior to result announcement, IIT JEE 2013 answer keys will also be uploaded on the websites of IIT JEE 2013 around the first week of May 2013. The candidates can view the answer key, match their answers and can have a priory idea about their IIT JEE 2013 Result.
Only the candidates, who attempted Paper 1 as well as Paper 2, will be eligible for IIT JEE 2013 Result. First an individual subject totaling will be done for both the papers and then aggregate marks will be calculated as the sum of all the subjects score.
