Well I have entered the one of most beautiful times of my life that is college life. The college is actually a university itself, The LNMIIT, Jaipur.

First thing's first I want to explain what I felt when I spent first few hours in the university. Well the college was so much like as seen earlier by me in photos that are on its website (:)). There is so much greenery spent all around the campus. Greenery can be seen upto a large distance in the campus. There are very beautiful architectural sights build by a Roman architect as I heard from some seniors here.

Well talking of first day in the institute there was nothing like anything special that day for new students. Because that day only admission procedure was occurred(24 july). All reporting, verification of documents occurred that day. It continued till 6.00 pm . We were allotted hostels at the reporting time itself. We entered our rooms after 6.00 pm. We all were tired after a hectic day. My parents were with me so as other students were also with their parents. My parents had to leave that day and I was left to enter in hostel life for the first time in life. .

Now talking of what happened next day. The institute started to play its role with new students.  They decided to do a orientation program for a week(26 jul to 1 aug) for the fresher students so that they become familrize with the campus, faculty, and the senior students here. There were no studies for that one week. It was really a very nice experience for us to be a part of that program.

There were many talks held during this week. The general manager of Arcelor Mittal Company came here to deliver a talk for us. It was really a eye-opening talk for us about our future. There was a talk on how to become a successful engineer by a eminent professor of the institute.

Some alumni of LNMIIT also came here and listening to them made us feel where we actually are right now. All of them have either gone for doing P.hd in some great foreign university or they have started their own company.

There were quizzes organised during this orientation week. A seminar on art of living was organised. Some eminent and great personality of art of living foundation came to deliver that speech. There was interaction between faculty and students on communication skills. Also a pre freshers party was organised for 1st year students. Many students showed their talent in that. I myself performed singing and was accepted hugely.

All and all it was a brilliant start for our college life. I am thankful to institute for doing this for new students.....
