MU OET 2017 – The Manipal University will be conducting the MU Online Entrance Examination from April 24 to May 17, 2017. The exam will be held in computer based mode, over a period of one month. However, the availability of application form has already been announced by the University. The application process has started from November 1, 2016. Candidates have to submit the filled in application form by March 11, 2017. Slot Booking can be done from March 24, 2017. About Manipal University and MU OET 2017

It is mandatory for all the candidates to fulfil the eligibility criteria of MU OET 2017. Those, who will not ensure each criterion of it, will not be considered for seat allocation.
The requirements to be fulfilled are:
- Candidates must have cleared 10+2/Equivalent examination, with Physics, Mathematics, and English as the core subjects.
- Also, the minimum aggregate in the PCM subjects should not be less than 50% marks.
- Apart from this, the candidate must have also studied one option subject, which can be Chemistry, Biotechnology or Biology.

In the application form, the candidates will have to submit the personal, educational, communicational and few other details. To submit the form, the candidates will also have to remit the application fee of Rs. 600. In addition to this, while paying the application fee candidate will also have to pay Rs. 1400 as the examination fee.

The University will open the MU OET 2017 Online Test Booking System (OTBS) after the completion of the registration procedure. The Slot Booking can be done for 1st, 2nd & 3rd attempt seperately. Through the OTBS, the candidates will be able to reserve a test centre, date and slot. For the booking, the candidates will need the Application Number and Password. Hence, only the registered candidates will be allowed to do the booking.
Booking a slot for MU OET 2017 is vital because without doing so, the admit card will not be issued to the candidate. The admit card will contain the details about the venue, exam date, slot and more. Hence, it will only be published when the candidate will fulfil the formalities of the slot booking.
It should be noted that MU OET 2017 admit card will be a mandatory document to receive the entry in the exam hall.

The MU OET 2017 will be a 2 hour 30 minutes examination, which will be conducted in online mode. The candidates will have to solve 200 questions of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and English in it. All the questions will be of Multiple Choice Type (objective type) and the distribution of it will be as below:

The result of MU OET 2017 will be released as a merit list but it will contain the overall and sectional score as well.
