MU OET PG 2017 Exam Pattern

The paper pattern of MU OET PG 2017 is as below:

Duration: The MU OET PG 2017 will be of 1 hour 30 minutes. No relaxation will be provided under any circumstances.

Mode of the Paper: As the name suggests, the Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET) will be held in CBT mode.

Language: The question paper will only be provided in the English language.

Sections: As per the MU OET PG 2017 Exam Pattern, the question paper will be divided into two sections. The section one will contain questions from chosen subject paper and section two will contain questions from Engineering Mathematics.

Type of Questions: The questions in the examination will be of Multiple Choice Type (MCQs). For each question, four option choices will be given and candidates will have to choose one.

Number of Questions: The candidates will have to solve 60 MCQs in the given duration. The distribution of question will be as below:

  • 50 questions will be asked from Subject Paper
  • 10 questions will be asked from Engineering Mathematics

Marking Scheme: The marking scheme under the MU OET PG 2017 Exam Pattern is as below:

  • For a correct answer, 4 marks will be allocated to the candidates.
  • For each incorrect answer, negative marking of 1 mark will be done.

During the MU OET 2PG 2017 Slot Booking, candidates will be asked to choose one subject paper. In all, there are 9 options for subject paper but a candidate can opt for one only.
