no...its mentioned there..that earlier caste certificate is not allowed...u need to make the certificate in the format given in the prospectus again.....if u still have doubt..then u can call up the JEE office..the no is on the prospectus

can youb tell me what does it mean by The OBC candidates (non-creamy layer) will be required to produce the original caste certificate issued on or after January 1,2010 by a competent authority in the prescribed format (APPENDIX-3). Certificates in any other format will not be accepted. The certificate must be produced at the time of counselling, failing which they will NOT be considered for admission in the OBC category.my friend is in obc category. he has already have a OBC certificate. so he so he should produce another one issued on or after 1 jan 2010 . earlier certificate is valid or not . plese email me as soon as possible
