Attention for candidates of Non-NIT States/UTs:
Special State Specific Counselling for the candidates of Non-NIT States/UTs is scheduled to start from 30th July, 2009. The detailed Information Brochure indicating the Counselling Procedure will be made available on this Website shortly. The cutoff marks for some of the States/UTs (Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli,, Lakshdweep & Kandvi, and Andaman & Nicobar Islamds) have been lowered as follows: for OP Category: from 100 marks to 60 marks, for OBC Category: from 78 marks to 50 marks, for SC and ST Category /All category PH: from 44 marks to 33 marks. For the other three states, viz., Goa, Uttaranchal, and Pondicherry, the cutoff marks remain unchanged at 100/78/44 for OP/OBC/SC, ST and All category PH respectively. All the candidates from these 13 (Thirteen) Non – NIT States/UTs with marks greater than are equal to these respective cutoff marks are eligible for this ONLINE Counselling.
