The MHTCET exam has been renamed as MT CET from this year onwards. The admissions in the state colleges of Maharashtra will be done on the basis of NEET UG 2013 and the admissions in Engineering Colleges will be done on the basis of MT CET 2013 which will be a test which has replaced the existing name of the entrance test of Maharashtra State – MHTCET.
The MT CET 2013 will be conducted on 16th May 2013, Thursday and the exam centers for it will be formed at the district head quarters of Maharashtra.
The registration of exam aspirants of MT – CET 2013 will be done at the Junior Colleges. After that the Junior Colleges will send their respective requirements for the Application Forms to the Notified Colleges. The candidates can also apply Online for MT – CET 2013, can do so at: www.dte.org.in/mtcet2013 - the official website of exam. The Application Kit will have the password and application number which have to be entered by the candidates in online form.
The MT – CET 2013 Application Kits will be made available to candidates at the Junior Colleges or Schools from where they have passed or are appearing for the Class XII HSC Examination.
The candidates who are appearing or who have taken the HSC Exam from the colleges outside the State of Maharashtra have to obtain and submit the form at the Notified Colleges only.
