After the counseling of the first 7600 ranks, there are vacancies in the following branches:

- BE Biotechnology -35
- BE Printing Technology -40
- BE Instrumentation & Control – 40
- BE Industrial & Production - 28
- BE Chemical - 14
- BE Civil - 08
- BE Aeronautical - 08
To speed up the process of admission, we are calling the interested eligible candidates above rank 7600 in the MU-OET 2011 merit list for counselling and admission as per the schedule given below:

Venue: New Lecture Hall Complex, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal.
- To be eligible for the course, the candidate should have passed in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology as optional subjects and a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
- Candidates within rank 15000 who have already registered for waitlist to BE Printing Technology course are also required to attend the counselling. The waitlist priority given in response to our e-mail dated July 20th-21st, 2011 stands CANCELLED.
- All candidates should bring the first year fees and original documents mentioned in the Prospectus 2011/website. No candidate will be admitted to the course without full fees and original documents.

- Candidates above rank 7601 who have already enrolled are also requested to attend the counseling if interested to upgrade to the branches mentioned above.
- Since the classes have already commenced, you are requested to come prepared to attend the classes from the day of admission.
NOTE: The number of candidates called for the counselling will be more than the total number of seats available. This is to take care of any dropouts at the counselling stage. Mere inclusion in the merit list and call for counselling does not guarantee admission to a course. This will exclusively depend on the candidates MU-OET 2011 rank, the number of candidates attending the counselling, their choice of course and the number of seats available.
