Government of Maharashtra conducted a Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET 2010) for admission to Health Science, Engineering & Pharmacy Courses conducted on Thursday, 6th May,
2010.

The mark sheets of the aforesaid examination shall be available to the candidates at the Jr. Colleges. The result of this examination shall be displayed at the website of this Directorate "www.dmer.org".
The said examination could be successfully conducted with due cooperation from the Revenue, Education, Finance & Home departments of Government of Maharashtra. The Common Entrance Examination 2010 was conducted at the district head quarters in Maharashtra, at 740 centres. Total of 282096 candidates appeared for this examination.
Out of these 176632 candidates appeared for Health Science Courses, among them 99423 (56.29%) were boys and 77209 (43.71%) were girls. As per the region the number of candidates appeared and qualified for Medical and Dental
courses are as under.
The selection process for admission to Health Science Courses shall be conducted by filling "Preference Form" at following 4 centres i.e. Grant Medical College, Mumbai, B.J. Medical College, Pune, Govt. Medical College, Nagpur & Govt. Medical College,
Aurangabad. The notification to this effect shall be issued subsequently at the website of the Directorate as well as in newspapers. For selection to Engineering and Pharmacy courses
