Gosh I'm screwed in AIEEE!
The answer to the first Physics question...shou ld it not be be (b)...i.e st 2 is the correct explanation for st 1....after all the concept of velocity being exchanged is derived from the formula which uses the principle of velocity of approach and separation being equal....so in an indirect ways statement 2 is the reason for statement 1.....please help...
