The KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE) 2017 has begun from April 14, in the online mode. The exam will be held in different slots and candidates have to appear for the examination as per the respective slot booked by them. The last date of KIITEE 2017 examination is April 23. Through KIITEE 2017, the candidates will be granted admission to around 20 undergraduate engineering courses, and nearly 1800 B.Tech seats will be filled by KIIT University.
The KIITEE 2017 question booklet is divided into three sections- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section comprises of 40 questions. As per the exam pattern of KIITEE 2017 defined by the University, candidates will be allotted 180 minutes to solve the entire paper. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect response.
KIITEE 2017 is being conducted across 60 test cities in India. The KIITEE exam centres 2017 have been allotted to the candidates as per their preference of KIITEE exam centre selected at the time of filling up the application form.
The result of KIITEE 2017 will be announced by KIIT University on May 05. Along with the result, the rank list will also be published in the online mode. The result will display the marks and rank of the candidates who have qualified in KIITEE 2017. The cutoff of KIITEE will also be published by the University along with the result and candidates have to secure the minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for admission.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for the KIITEE counselling process. The counselling session is expected to commence from May 25, 2017. On the basis of rank in the merit list, seats will be allotted to the candidates. The admission committee will conduct the second round of counselling, in case any vacant seats are left.
