About JEE Main 2017 Prepmeter
The Prepmeter for JEE Main 2017 is a very beneficial tool which has been introduced by Careers360 to assist aspirants of JEE Main to get an insight about the level of preparation. With the help of this tool, candidates can check their preparation score and get an idea about their weak areas. Based on the analysis, candidates will also receive suggestions to eliminate shortcomings and improve their weak areas. Also, candidates can come back any time to analyse their level of preparation.
How to use JEE Main 2017 Prepmeter?
The JEE Main 2017 Syllabus comprises of three different section viz., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The Physics and Mathematics section consist of 17 topics and Chemistry have 20 topics. The Prepmeter will calculate the topic wise, section wise and the overall score based on the percentage of preparation level against each topic. The instruction to use the Prepmeter is given below:
- Candidates will require Signing up with Facebook or Google+. They have to provide personal details such as current location, mobile number, Gender and education details such as current education level, education interest etc. to access the Prepmeter.
- After unlocking the resource, the Prepmeter will appear on the screen. Candidates have to choose the category they belong to (General, OBC, SC, ST etc.)
- Candidates have to select the percentage covered in each topic of the three sections and submit it by clicking on the ‘Analyse’ button.
- The candidate’s overall result will be displayed on the screen based on their current preparation level. They will be able to see their overall result, areas of improvement, it will also track their level of progress and candidates can also check the list of probable colleges.
