JEE Main 2017 is a national level entrance exam and every year round 12 lakh candidates appear for the exam to be shortlisted for admission to B.Tech programmes in government institutes in India. The exam is administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The official cutoff will be announced by CBSE along with the result of JEE Main 2017 on April 27. Candidates securing marks as per the JEE main 2017 Cutoff will qualify the national level exam and be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2017. CBSE will shortlist around 220000 candidates for JEE Advanced 2017 scheduled to be held on May 21 and fill around 11000 B.Tech seats in 23 IITs.
