Q1. What is the eligibility criteria?

Ans. The candidate should have a pass in the 10+2 or its equivalent** with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science as optional subjects.

Q2.  What is the reservation criteria?

Ans.

  • In JIIT Noida :- Open for all states ( Based on AIEEE 2012 score )
  • In JIIt WAkNAGHAT :- 10% seats for Himachal Pradesh students and 90% seats for other states (Based on AIEEE 2012 score)
  • In JIIT Gurgoan :- Open for all states (Based on AIEEE 2012 score )

Q3. What are the courses offered under B.tech?

Ans. The courses offered under B.tech are:B.Tech in Information Technology

• B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering
• B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering
• B.Tech in Biotechnology
• B.Tech in Bioinformatics

Q4. How much is the application form for?

Ans. The application form is for Rs. 800.

Q5. In whose favour is the DD to be made?

Ans. The DD is to be made in favour of: “Jaypee Institute of Information Technology” payable at Noida/Delhi

Q6. In how many ways can the form be submitted?

Ans. The form can be registered online by issuing a DD or by paying through a debit or credit card.

Q7.  What is the maximum age for appearing in the exam?

Ans. Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1990 (Date of Birth as recorded in the High School/Secondary Education Board/University Certificate only will be taken as authentic) are eligible to apply for admission.

Ans. Obtain the Form from any of the Institutes/bank branches of IDBI bank listed in the advertisement and/or as per list provided on the web site by paying in cash. The form may also be obtained by post by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 800/- in favor of “Jaypee Institute of Information Technology” payable
