JAC Delhi Counselling 2017JAC Delhi Counselling 2017: JAC Delhi has relesaed counselling of JAC Delhi 2017 for round 5 and 6. The counselling of JAC Delhi round 5 has started from July 18 onwards. The round 4 result of JAC Delhi Counselling was released in online mode. Along with the result, cutoff for round 4 has been announced. Along with result, the cutoff for third round of JAC Delhi counselling was also published. The round 3 result of JAC Delhi counselling 2017 was declared on July 10. The round 2 counselling of JAC Delhi 2017 was conducted from July 06 to 08. The cutoff for second round JAC Delhi counselling was announced for four campuses. The second round of seat allotment results has been released by JAC Delhi institute wise in online mode. Candidates can check JAC Delhi seat allotment result by entering JEE Main 2017 roll number and password in the candidate login window. The first round of seat allotment result was declared on June 29. The merit list for JAC Delhi 2017 admissions was released for all the three campuses. Based on the merit list candidates were called for JAC Delhi Counselling 2017. The online registration for JAC Delhi Counselling 2017 was started from June 12 onwards. The JAC Delhi 2017 counselling is being conducted in four rounds which will include one spot round of JAC Delhi counselling. To be eligible for participating in the JAC Delhi counselling 2017 candidates first were required to fill their online registration form and pay the requisite JAC Delhi Counselling fees. After registration candidates need to fill in their choices. As per the eligibility of the candidate, availability of seat in the institute and branches are released by the authority. The choices filled by the candidates during online registration are processed and the Institute wise JAC Delhi 2017 cutoff are made available by JAC Delhi for seat allotment.

 

DTU, IGDTUW and NSIT will offer admission on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) obtained by the candidate in JEE Main 2017 Paper I. Simultaneously, admission to B. Arch. course in IGDTUW will be offered on the basis of AIR in Paper II. On the basis of the number of candidates completing the verification of document successfully, the vacant seat was released the 2nd round of JAC Delhi Counselling 2017. The third and Fourth round remains similar as the second round. Following the third round, the JAC Delhi 2017 Spot round will be held if any vacant seats are available in DTU, NSIT, IIIT-D & IGDTUW. Documents required for each round of JAC Delhi Counselling

Document Verification after result declaration in each round of JAC Delhi Counselling

  • Receipt of the Admission Fee Payment.
  • Online created Registration Form duly signed by guardian/parent and candidate.
  • Printout of filled choices (printed after closing of registration)
  • Three passport size color photograph.
  • Printout of the Admit Card & Score Card of JEE Main 2017.
  • Marks sheet of the qualifying examination, i.e. Class XII or equivalent.
  • Printout out of Seat Allotment Letter downloaded
  • Date of Birth Certificate as indicated in High School or equivalent examination, i.e. Class X.
  • Reservecategory/sub-categoryry Certificates.
  • Medical fitness certificate original in case of General/SC/ST/CW/OBC/SG/ TP/CW/KM
  • PD sub-category: A certificate from the Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for Physically Handicapped Karkardooma, VikasMarg, Delhi-110092 is to be produced at the time of counselling/admission, which will certify that the applicant is fit for undergoing the said course (Format available at 7.6in this brochure). No certificate other than this shall be allowed for availing seat under ‘PD’ Category. This will be subject to verification by a panel of doctors available at the time of counselling. The decision of the Joint Admission Committee regarding the eligibility/admission of any applicant shall be final.

JAC Delhi 2017 Counselling Procedure – Round wise

There are Six rounds (including one spot round) of counselling of JAC Delhi 2017:

JAC Delhi 2017 Counselling Round 1

  • The choices filled by the candidates during online registration was processed centrally and the institute wise cutoffs of the seat allotment results were made available by JAC Delhi.
  • The first round of seat allotment result was made available by JAC Delhi in candidate login page.
  • Online Provisional Admission letter is generated in the candidate’s login account on JAC Delhi for the candidates who get an allotment in this round. Candidates must take a printout of this letter.
  • All the candidates who get an allotment in this round must pay the admission fee and report to the allotted University/ Institute for document verification along with all the requisite documents and fee payment receipt, as per the counselling
  • Failing which his/her allotted seat will stand automatically cancelled and the candidate will not be considered for subsequent online rounds of seat allotment.
  • Based on the number of candidates completing the document verification successfully, the vacant seat will be available for 2nd round of counselling.

JAC Delhi 2017 Counselling Round 2

  • No fresh registrations were allowed in this round.
  • In this round, all eligible candidates were able to appear as per counselling schedule for knowing the allotment / upgradation of seat for appearing in this round. If an already admitted candidate has already exercised their option for freezing of allotted seat in the first round, the same was not considered for the subsequent round of counselling.

Who is eligible for JAC Delhi 2017 Counselling Round II?

Below are the following types of candidates are eligible for counselling:

Type – I: All registered candidates who were not allotted any seats in the first round of seat allotment must visit the login page as per counselling schedule for knowing the allotment of a seat for him/her in this round.

Type – II: Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first round of counselling, paid their admission fee as required, also got their documents verified and hence were declared as successfully admitted candidates. Such candidates must visit the login page as per counselling schedule for knowing the up gradation of seat allotted to him/her in the first round.

JAC Delhi 2017 Counselling Third, Fourth and Fifth Round

Same as the second round and eligibility remain same for all the respective rounds.

Upgradation of Admitted candidates

1. Only those candidates who have been admitted but have not withdrawn their admission upto completion of the document verification stage of the fifth round of counselling are eligible for Upgradation.

2. New allotment is not done here and the only up gradation of the candidates as mentioned in Point 1 above is done. Therefore, it is advised to candidates that they should exercise all the possible choices across Universities/Institutes while filling the choices. This Upgradation is made against the vacant seats after the last date of withdrawal up to which admission fee is refunded after deduction of Rs. 1000.

3. There will be upgradation for candidates involving all the participating Institutes taking the maximum rank of last round of counselling cut off in each category & region of NSIT, DTU & IIITD as base cut off ranks.

4. After the upgradation of step 2, there will be internal upgradation within the admitted candidates of IGDTUW beyond the rank mentioned in step 2 above. These candidates may participate in the SPOT Round only after due submission of their willingness at the Spot Round Venue.

Spot Round (subject to availability of seats)

Eligibility for Spot rounds:

  • The Candidates who have not taken admission in any participating University / Institute upto Fifth Round.
  • The Candidates who have not been offered any seat up to Fifth Round.
  • The Candidates who withdrew after taking admission in any participating University/nstitute till last date of withdrawal upto which admission fee is refunded after deduction of Rs. 1000/- only.

Registered Candidates:

  • who were allotted seat in some round but did not report for admission at DTU / NSIT / IIITD / IGDTUW.
  • who have not filled any choice during online registration process.
  • who were allotted seat in some round of counselling, but the seat was cancelled due to some deficiency.
